    I know he'd never sign for us but a player like Jelavic would be a quality addition I reckon and at the £3m he's rumoured to be joining West Ham for represents a real bargain.

    Jon Walters for yet another spell at the KC?

    Maybe even someone like Becchio who if I remember rightly, is still on a free? As I write this, Norwich have just signed a striker so maybe someone like Hooper or Grabban may be possibilities?

    Stoke    forwardJonathan Waltershas handed in a transfer request, according toSky sources.
    The Potters rejected two bids fromNorwichfor Walters last week, with the latest offer worth £2m.
    We understand Walters, who has a year left on his current Stoke deal, has been in talks for several months with the club, but those discussions have broken down over the length of contract on offer.


    £2m would be a bargain surely?

    Abel is staying that's one big relief.

    Think he'll come to life this season. He's obviously going to be our main striker so the solid game time will do him the world of good with regards getting a handle on the faster paced and more physical island style.

    I don't think it would be a disaster if we didn't get another striker I think we have a squad that would be better suited playing one up top and it would help us be more fluid and dominant in midfield.

    Huddlestone Meyler
    Snodgrass Diame Maloney
    Hernandez

    With Aluko, Clucas, Hayden, Akpom, Dave, Bruce, Maguire, Taylor all to pick from as well. A lot of those players are versatile so we have cover all over along with the likes of Townsend, CJM, Luer and whoever else is starting to impress for the u21's in the case of a real crisis and the loan window as well.
