Absolutely this. Bloody Scots, always wanting something for nothing.

You'd hope they cover half, plus any performance/goal bonuses. Don't want us getting bummed for goal bonuses when he scores for fun in a tin pot league!

    Dunno.

Think I`d rather he went ower the border on half wages than sitting on his arse here doing nowt for full whack.

This isn't Celtic's fault though. They wanted Fletcher early in this window, but then announced that they wouldn't be going for him because "he's on premiership wages, and we just can't compete with that." It's up to Fletcher to accept that he can't get another EPL club because he isn't good enough, and then negotiate wages with Celtic. I blame him for wanting to leech us, not them for offering to pay all they can afford.

Give him for free plus pay his basic wage for the remainder of his contract with us but get Dick van Dyke as a swap.

If this comes off and adding in the Craig Gordon disaster, my reckoning is about 30 m.down the Celtic drain.

exactly. he's a twat of the highest order. take a decent package now Fletch, and you might get a decent contract out of it.

Nice teeth and real hair, plus a lovely smile. Better than Fletcher already

Whoa! Don't waste a bench space on the ****er. The club should say Celtic want you on loan either go and play football on their wages or rot here but pick up your pay check. 2016 euros coming Scotland still in with a chance. Surely he'll take the bait.

Defo what concrete tony has just said. Just call his bluff. He would surely not want to miss out on the chance of euros.

Off the wage bill is enough for me, any sort of cash is a bonus, he,ll do well in that league if he can be a:;ed
Agree with that, although I wasn't,t impressed with price when we bought him, he looked the part and banged a fair few in which boded well for the season after. Then the injuries kicked in and as and when he came back he thought he was Pele with fancy fLicks and tricks that come off about 10% of time if lucky, serious lack of application from this guy, too busy admiring his car
