Pogba and Stones on the radar?

Really will hate it if we sign any one of these players now!!

Pogba didn't do much in Turin & Rome, without Vidal & Pirlo. Juve 2 losses from 2 (worse than us).
Maybe he is also not mentally ready - just like KDB?

Over inflated prices are not going to help these youngsters settle down easily.
Read - Di Maria, Berbaflop, Sheva, Nando, Soldado, Ozil, Bale et al.

Youngsters are not, inflated prices are not good for anyone.

Berba & Bale are still considered FLOPS by many.

 

But the facts refute this consideration

 

Real fans rate Bale a flop. Looks more like buying a player and then not using him properly, a la de Bruyn or Schurrle. I ws gung ho for Pogba until I read his price tag, not the fee but the wages. That would alienate the entire team, or maybe they would just pass him the ball and say, you get 3 times what we get, so work 3 times harder. Sure you get my drift, it would not make for good bonding sessions !

Apparently Djilobodji (apologies if that isn't the correct spelling) is having a medical with us. The price is 2.7M.

He's 26, plays for Nantes, primarily a centre back but can also play holding midfield. I've never ever seen him play. Has anybody else? Apparently our scouting team have been watching him for two years, which seems an awful long time....

Wonder if he's a bit of a stop gap until we get a big signing (probably Stones) within the next year?

 

Never heard of him but if he turns out to be any good then £2.7m would be an absolute snip.

 

Hopefully he can be a great cheap addition like Azpilicueta was. We need someone to keep giving our players a kick up the ass.

Spending only 3M on one of our 2 key positions makes me think a big deal is certainly in the offing.

 

Relatively buys from Ligue 1 is way better than any of our buys from La liga or Bundesliga.

Pogba transfer talk is pure fantasy - the players wage would go down like a cup of cold sick with the rest of the squad. The perception of the club at the moment is a potential house of cards I don't see too many top drawer performers clamouring to join Jose's circus at this moment in time.

 

Pogba turned down Chelsea. Reckon he's waiting for Barcelona to be back in transfer business.

Makes sense. If you are a player you choose Barca, Real and possibly Bayern over Chelsea and definitely over Lancashire+LVG-Ferguson all day long

La Gazzetta report today Pogba turned down Chelsea despite 62 mill fee being agreed by Juve. Don't know if it was wages or he simply doesnt want to come here.

 

Either way he didn't come. Maybe he just didn't want to come. It happens to every club but no doubt Stan will w**k if Pogba did turn us down.

It is funny that it's a genuine "turned down Chelsea" article. It will send Katie (who seems to have been very quiet so far this season, odd that, although I'm not suggesting that he only gives it the big one when Chelsea are doing well...) into a spin. Google might explode!
