To me it is all about wait and see. We don't know what is really going on. People read stuff and think it's all true. Just wait till the close of play tomorrow. Then we can have our tantrums or celebrations etc.
A loan move or two might be our best option now. Vydra is about as good as it get's when I think of possible purchases. People like Rhodes are priced way out of our league. If West Ham had come in for Jelavic earlier, I reckon Andre Gray would be a Tiger now.
I'm not sure it does, it looks like Hernandez is also on his way, though **** knows why, they should be playing him.
I thought Brady played his best football under Bruce, Luer's looked good, Chezzy continually improved, Robertson was good initially but stalled lately, Elmo played his best football under Bruce. I think people need to hang fire on judging the manager for the moment as we are p2 in a tough league with a ****load of improvement to come also
Shame that the club seemingly weren't prepared to take a fairly safe gamble on N'Doye and Jelavic having been shipped out prior to the window closing.
Mixed feelings on Jelly going to the Hammers, hasn't covered himself in glory this season but if he'd stayed fit last year we would have stayed up and one of the best strikers to play for Hull City
Agree with some of them but half of them never played under another City manager. Aluko was way better than he is now when we first signed him and before he got used as a pointless target man. Davies I agree with but you were slating him all last season for playing poorly so that was his fault but it's down to Bruce when he does well?
That wasn't the criterion, though - he'd asked which players improved under Bruce, not which players "already at the club" improved under him. Not that I agree with the list. Davies, Aluko, Quinn and others were good from day 1, so you can't really say they improved. Brady, Chester, Elmo, Meyler - they definitely improved.
Yeah, I know they didn't want to be lumbered with too many high waged strikers, but possibly ending up with insufficient firepower when all it would have taken is an extra £500,00 to £1m to secure Andre Gray, could appear foolhardy at the end of all the transfer dealings when it would only takes injuries to what we have left to hamper us. There is the loan window, but sometimes such players don't always feel like they own the shirt.
I think we will be right up there come the end of the season and if we do go up we will have nobody permanent. Still not sure if Hernandez will be here.
