Bafetimbi Gomis £7m release clause has Manchester United on red alert as Swansea City hope to hang onto star - reports Can't see it happening TBH! http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/bafetimbi-gomis-7m-release-clause-9956307
Huw switches his mobile off in the last few days of the transfer window Anyway this will not happen as we will have to have time to get a replacement in, and we need international clearance for whoever we bring in
Reports from the Sun He's on the radar of several premier league clubs -no sh1t Sherlock, 3 goals 3 games so he should be - no attributed quotes or sources though giving credence to the report. More from the Sun: Manchester United chief scout Jim Lawlor has been tracking the in-form Frenchman. Probably has, its his job after-all. As much as I love Gomis, he's no Neymar though, so its Gomis if he cant land Neymar? Logic there isn't exactly Vulcanesque is it? Its more like that cotton wool fuzzy logic we get with a post Saturday night, Sunday morning head slammer - no attributed quotes or source. The Sun says Villa and Spurs are also interested, who said dat den? - no attributed quotes or source The deal sealer though, talksports; the media sister of the Sun nudes paper, Georgie Bingham and Micky 'Liverpewl Liverpewl Liverpewl' Quinn discussed potential deadline bids for many players one of who was Gomis. They thought that "Gomis would be a great cut-price striker option for Louis Van Gaal if he misses out in his audacious attempt to land Barcelona star Neymar" - Those words 'cut-price' again, they never learn do they? If and when Piers Morgan comes out and says Man Utd are interested in Gomis then and only them will I believe it. Until then though, the deeds to my house will remain as collateral for the monster bet I'm on with dat Paddy fella. Gomis will still be a Swansea player after the deadline - odds on bet, safe.
The stream of bullsh1t just keeps flowing http://www.thetottenhamway.com/2015...r-swansea-strikers-7-million-release-clause/? I doubt Gomis would have any interest in moving sideways. If he wants to play for France then he's where he needs to be. Here he's top dog at Spurs he'd be second fiddle at best as the only sound bite coming out of Spurs is Harry Kane, Harry Kane, Harry Kane. Any player going to Spurs to complement Kane would be the scapegoat if Kane doesn't perform. The press et al don't see, say or report on Kane missing absolute sitters (3 if I recall rightly) that would and should have got him off the mark. That's three gilt edged chances he's muffed that my 9 month old Grand Daughter would have smashed into the net and she's still wobbling. The press would have crucified any other player but not Kane because he's their new Roy of the Rovers character, a la Sheerer of old, who can do no wrong even when he plays sh1te. Kane is Englands savior, their Messiah (queue Monty Python) and imo, any player running with him will be anonymous if Kane performs becoming the excuse and reason if Kane doesn't.
We wouldn't let him go at this late stage of the Transfer window, it gives us no time to replace him, and Monk is on record as saying, he is not building a team to sell off players, so this reporting is a none starter.................
Keep on like this and he'll be a superior player to Bony. He's already impressed me with his work rate around the pitch. Offers far more defensive protection imo.
Vastly improved and he links well with Ayew. £150 million for the pair. (Clubs do get desperate two days before the transfer window closes )
After today there's more of a chance of the queen getting her nipples pierced than there is of Gomis going
Throw the whole 1st 11 in for a cool billion, and we'll just continue with the rest of the players at the club lol
The only thing with Gomis is his age, shame he isn't 26. Also I think the system we play suits Gomis now, the problem when he first came to us is that the team was set up for bony. Eder will have the same problem although he's more similar to gomis than Gomis was to bony
