Goalkeepers: Joe Hart, Jack Butland, Tom Heaton Defenders: Nathanial Clyne, Luke Shaw, Kieran Gibbs, Gary Cahill, Chris Smalling, John Stones, Phil Jagielka Midfielders: Michael Carrick, James Milner, Ross Barkley, Jonjo Shelvey, Alex Oxlaide-Chamberlain, Raheem Sterling, Fabian Delph, Ryan Mason Forwards: Wayne Rooney, Harry Kane, Jamie Vardy, Theo Walcott
Injured players: Foster, Forster Jones, Baines, Bertrand, Flanagan Wilshere, Henderson, Lallana, Townsend, Cleverley Welbeck, Sturridge, Carroll
With Welbeck and Sturridge injured, Kane was practically as certain of his place as Hart and Rooney. CM is the most worrying area - Woy has been bedding in Wilshere/Henderson/Delph, but two are out and one is still on his way back from injury. Time for Milner and Barkley to step up (if he trusts Barkley with a deeper role) - and possibly Carrick too. I'd sit Barkley further up, in the middle of a 3 in a 4-2-3-1, flanked by Sterling and Ox (Walcott cameo off the bench).
We only make up the numbers at these tournaments so it ain't worth getting out of bed about anymore anyway
Eh? I listed him as an injured player, that's all. Why are you reacting as if I've expressed an opinion about him?
You are on a thread talking about England players, Carroll is always injured & shouldn't play for England or even be in the same breath as England!
Erm... he's a regular callup to the England squad, you arse. Every reason to put him on the injured list. Just because you think he's **** doesn't mean he shouldn't be mentioned.
Funny how he made it into to an INJURED PLAYERS list, then. Also funny that you chose to highlight his presence in that list but not Flanagan's.
