United's squad is completely unbalanced. He's spent a kings ransom and they don't have an out and out striker, a first team keeper and a commanding CB. Their recruitment has been all over the pace since Van Gaal arrived

What he said makes sense though. They were controlling the game but then got stretched and caught with a quick counter lead by Williams (who was superb btw).

Yeh agree. We were well in control except that Rooney lost possession with every pass. When you're comfortable, you're confident and we were camped up front when Rooney gave the ball away. I agree with your earlier post as well, although it's not a lack of balance overall, but simply that we lack the quality in two important positions. In effect we played today with 10 men and no striker.

They did and then completely controlled the game for the next 10. Swansea were penned back and looked shot before their first goal arrived from nowhere. After the equaliser the game changed and United couldn't cope with Ayew and Gomis.

I think the worst thing is, after they went ahead (and for much of the game before) at no point did we look like scoring.
