I would do many terrible things to get Tadic on the left every game, please Ron, please. Also Cedric in for every game he's fit for, I don't care how physical the other sioe are we are so handicapped without a proper attacking right-back.
Rebecca Lowe is not happy about Whittaker's red card. I dunno. Neither foul was that awful, but too me he has no excuse. The first one was just stupid and petulant. The second one, he thought he was beat so he cheated a little. Not at all dirty, but it's the kind of yellow card you'll get now and again... but you have to be aware you are already sitting on a yellow. So I can see the argument that Whittaker's actions weren't that awful. But if you make a string of jerky/professional fouls then eventually you can get sent off, and that's proper.
I'm in favor of Rodriguez getting playing time, but I worry it will mess up the midfield and start us playing long ball again. Would've liked to wait 10 or 15 minutes, but I guess J-Rod also needs to get some action.
Thing is we'll dominate the midfield anyway. I assume Jay has been told to stand somewhere near Pelle for 45 minutes.
He's been causing all sorts of trouble, but hasn't quite been able to totally beat his man and get that killer cross in (he did have one). But he keeps it up sooner or later he'll cut one back on the floor and Pelle or Mane will put it in.
Glad davis is off. Offers next to nothing going forward. A good squad player but not good enough to start.
This might be just what we need - see, we can create chances. We might not be scoring all these, but it's gotta be good for the confidence.
