Fantasy v/s reality. He is just ****. You can wish all you like but he'll never be a better than average manager.

So the critics are ****ing idiots. While the Rodgers fans are right?

Ummhmm, you can rant all you like at us but I've not gone and spent hundreds of millions of pounds of FSG's cash and then served up piles of **** time and again to the fans. Perhaps you are misdirecting your anger?
I want us to succeed. We have just lost 3 nil at home to West Ham: losers against Bournemouth and EL pre group dropouts. Take a reality check. We are looking pretty damned average this season.

To those who still support that useless Pratt:

3-0 at home to west ham! Please repeat that score. They have beaten a 53 year old record of never having beaten lfc at Anfield in that time.

    Chew on this <ok>

What I really don't get is why he persists on and on with Lovren. Lovren is poor. So he has one good game, so what? He's ****. Yet it boils down to the stupid fee we paid for him and that's it, it's like well I can't drop him.

Who's pulling those strings, BR or FSG?

As for Skrtel, he makes too many mistakes now and it's getting beyond a bloody joke.

I felt sorry for Gomez today. He was made to look **** where he was playing.

We were pretty bad against Stoke and Bournemouth. Decent for maybe 40 minutes vs Arsenal without scoring. Been pretty dire all last season + shambolic by the end.

Still playing Skrtel three years later... Playing Lovren (his signing) over the far superior Sakho. Now playing a teenager at left back - Moreno arrived off a great season as one of the best young fullbacks. What's happened?

Rodgers is an 'attacking' manager apparently... did we make their keeper dive today?

Let's face it he's wasting money, can't attract enough talent (amazed we got Firmino) and is ruining players he doesn't fancy.

No. You're ****ing idiots because there's a group of you on here that clearly enjoy seeing Liverpool losing.

Its funny, when we were challenging for the title you were hardly here, apart from when we played Crystal Palace away & Chelsea home. Is that a coincidence? Or is it just down to you not being interested in our successes, and only wanting to stick the boot in when we don't win.

I'm not criticising people who dislike or don't rate Rodgers, I'm criticising the ones who are quiet when we are doing well then crawl out of the woodwork when something doesn't go to plan just to have a go at a manager they clearly have a personal vendetta against.

I won't dignify this silly reply with a proper response. Go and **** yourself!

If you cannot see that we are going nowhere with this manager then there is no hope for you.

Think we all want to watch Liverpool win... that's at the core of the frustration.

Fans are ultimately powerless... of course people talk more when we're doing badly... it's all we can do.

Chelsea have lost to palace, drawn to Swansea and lost to the first top four rivals they've met.

Arsenal have lost to the same team as us and drew with us.

    United have drawn with Newcastle.

City have been the only team looking like a proper top four/PL winning team.

The rest of us have all looked like ****e despite spending money. It's early yet me thinks. A win against United to get back on track and we'll see how goes.

I don't enjoy Liverpool losing. I was far more active when we were winning. Obviously you moan when you lose and play like ****. And you moan less when you're winning. That is how being a supporter works.

It's been 3 years - at this point you can't blindly put your faith in your manager coming good.

I support my team and I want everyone to do well, even Lovren and Lallana and Skrtel and everyone else that has come under fire recently. I'll not stop supporting the team. But if you think I'm going to grin and laugh and post #ynwa after a 3-0 loss to West Ham at home you're very much mistaken.

Well, we could write it off as a blip. Easy to do this early in the season.

Unfortunately, I can't see it being the last blip because we don't seem to learn by these mistakes. There's more fun with Dick, Jane and Brendan to come

It was a poor display,we deserved to be beaten. We lick our wounds and look forward to the next game.

I don't feel its right to demand the manager's removal, our start to the season has been generally ok

The ridiculous thing is that we do have a quality squad. Firmnho, Benteke, Milner, Henderson, Can, Ibe, Markovic, Ings, Sturridge, Lucas, Gomez, Moreno, Sakho, Skrtel, Clyne are all either massive prospects or established talent. It is clear that the system they are in is not working. Im not one for change but im sick of this. Lost faith in Rodgers last season, but was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt over the summer. This performance suggests nothing has changed over the summer and he needs replacing. Dont know who, but dont want to watch anymore toothless losses. If we keep BR, the likes of Coutinho will be off end of the season. We need someone who can make the fans and the players believe

Pretty much <ok> It was a poor performance all round, I think we lost it from the moment Rodgers picked the team. Playing a narrow team like that made it really easy for West Ham. And on top of the formation you have 2 centre halves that each cost you a goal, its never going to be easy.

Its still early days though and I think Rodgers is still trying to fit Milner, Emre Can, Coutinho, Firmino etc. all into one team at the moment so I'm not too distraught by it. I just hope he learns from his mistakes this time around, history suggests he won't but he's still young in managerial terms and he's always improving himself so I guess we'll see with time.

Best thing I read all day:

Rodgers is no different to Jose Enrique. Hanging on for as long as he can as he will never join a bigger club and the only step is down.
