Chris Powell has been at the helm at the John Smith’s Stadium since last September, so this represents his first full campaign in charge of the club. His first aim will no doubt be to improve on their 16th-place finish last season. Huddersfield have collected three points from their opening four fixtures, but that doesn’t tell the true story of their campaign so far. After a 2-0 opening-day defeat at newly-relegated Hull City, Town have drawn their last three fixtures against tough opposition – Blackburn (1-1), Brighton (1-1) and Fulham (1-1). They were only denied all three points at the Cottage last weekend by a 95th-minute equaliser, while Powell’s men are the only team to take any points off the pace-setting Seagulls to date. The Bookies have this weekend’s hosts as the favourites for all three points. Last season he netted 14 goals in all competitions, and he has started the current campaign in fine form, netting two in four league games. Wells began his career at Carlisle United, but it was with Bradford that he showed his eye for a goal. In the 2012/13 season, he netted 18 times in League Two to help the Bantams win promotion. The following season, he showed he was more than capable of handling the step-up to League One as he plundered a staggering nine goals in his first eight games. By the turn of the year he had scored 15 goals, and it was enough to convince the Terriers to pull out all the stops to acquire his services. The 25 year-old will certainly be one to watch this weekend. I think my last proper away game was a 1 1 draw in Huddersfield Vinnie jones scored I think a night club in Huddersfield is a funny place to be on a Saturday night but a friendly bunch they were to me a kiwi(the eventual wife) an aussie and my mate the Huddersfield local
Like Huddersfield, draw specialists Derby & Leeds (each on 4) played in the early game. The match appeared headed for another draw, but Kiwi Chris Wood scored a massive winner for Leeds in the 88th min - 6ft 3in, only 23, he might have been a good buy for us from Leicester, rather than say Mackie. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Wood_(footballer,_born_1991) please log in to view this image Chris Wood fired in a superb late winner to give Leeds their first win of the season at Derby. The striker drove in from the edge of the box in the 88th minute to win a game that looked set for a draw.

Chance for QPR! Phillips back heels to Austin who shoots from distance and the ball deflects off Chery and loops just over the bar with the keeper beaten
