Heading into Brum in a minute, and picking up a few Villa supporting mates on the way. Just hoping it's them that are miserable on the journey home, and not me. Ha'way the lads, and up the Arsenal.
Kaboul in for Coates. Hoping he starts to show his superiority today. They're without several of their better players, I'm going 0-2.
Graham starts again.... sigh. I don't get Dick's obsession with having a big target man on the field at all times. Watmore Defoe Lens can work as a front three imo, just don't play ****ing hoofball.
Aston Villa (4-3-3):Brad Guzan, Leandro Bacuna, Jordan Amavi, Ciaran Clark, Micah Richards, Alan Hutton, Carlos Sanchez, Ashley Westwood, Idrissa Gueye, Scott Sinclair, Rudy Gestede. Subs:Mark Bunn, Libor Kozak, Joe Bennett, Jordan Veretout, Carlos Gil, Joe Cole, Jordan Ayew. Sunderland (4-3-3):Costel Pantilimon, Patrick Van Aanholt, Billy Jones, Younes Kaboul, John O’Shea (c), Lee Cattermole, Jann M’Vila, Jack Rodwell, Jeremain Lens, Jermain Defoe, Danny Graham. Subs:Vito Mannone, Seb Coates, Seb Larsson, Ola Toivonen, Duncan Watmore, Lynden Gooch, Steven Fletcher.
Also, Fletch on the bench... gutted. Was hoping he'd be out for a while so Watmore could get a fair crack of the whip. Guess it'll be another 5 minutes for him
Not really up to scratch with Villa's first eleven, so looking at that team, how many are out ill with the ****s? edit: they've made 2 changes from last week. Hardly the bubonic plague was it?
Sherwood did say they were expected to recover in time. Doesn't mean they're 100% though. Fatigue will likely kick in early for those who had illness.
Hopefully they will be slipping and sliding about in their own ****e and vomit by the hour mark then!
Graham early on. You might have to wait longer than that for Danny Graham to score lol. Can't believe he's in the squad never mind a starter! Hard work isn't enough to lead the line in the prem league...
