QPR manager Chris Ramsey claims players have "taken advantage" of the club in recent seasons.

The 53-year-old told BBC Sport the "big-spending days are behind us" after relegation from the Premier League, their second in three seasons.
Ramsey's predecessor Harry Redknapp described the club as a "soap opera" and said many players earn "far too much money".

Ramsey said: "We know there's been some players who could have helped us more."

In a wide-ranging interview with Football Focus (to be broadcast on BBC One this Saturday at 11:30 BST) he also discusses the future of in-demand striker Charlie Austin and the problems facing black managers.

He's answering a question put to him because he is one of 6 black managers out of 92, he's not 'banging on' about anything. Which bit of what he actually said do you disagree with?

"It's changing; probably it hasn't changed quickly enough. I'm hoping there's going to be some doors open for other people to come in.

"I'm not just talking about black coaches. I'm talking about people from all persuasions, and I'm talking about gender even. Why shouldn't there be a female coach in the dugout at some point?

"A coach with obvious disabilities or someone that's openly homosexual - why shouldn't that happen?

"We have to really cut all these barriers down and make it more of an equal opportunities issue than just about black coaches."

Ramsey IMO definitely fit to get the job. Blame the idiot BBC .. it's all about them trying to broadcast a non story and try and be balanced… it's really all about them.
Makes no difference to me what colour his skin is … he just a brilliant coach who is learning to cut his teeth as a manager and I believe he will become one of the greats later on.

Don't mess with Rambo - A good natured version of Harry's, "that's why they're in the f'ing reserves", when hit by a training field ball during an interview.

    http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/34087797

QPR manager Chris Ramsey's interview with Football Focus is interrupted by a couple of cheeky players.

Ramsey is interrupted by James Perch and Tjaronn Chery crossing over in front of the cameras, prompting the 53-year-old to joke: "see you in the under-21's game on Monday!" and telling Mark Clemmit he might have some transfer news for him.

    Watch more of Ramsey's
wide-ranging interview on Football Focus at 11:30 BST on Saturday 29 August.

It's obvious they are going to ask CR questions relating to the fact he is black, if he were white then it wouldn't be a story. Personally I don't care if our manager is black, green or orange as long as he can produce the results.

If our manager was a transgender black crippled Muslim lesbian that got us playing good football, I'd sing her name

It's refreshing to be looking forward to our manager being interviewed without fear of fall-out, ridicule and media storms.

Coffee slurping and "well it's difficult" will be at a premium from now on.
