I reckon Oddy was more at one with the naturalist regime on the beaches there ;)

I was in Costa De Los Pinos - on the Eastern tip of Mallorca. Didn't gain an ounce in weight, despite consuming about a bath tub full of San Miguel. I did rent a bike when I was there though, so that helped to burn the calories :)

To be honest I hadn’t noticed it and was grateful you flagged Forge up. Love the name by the way in keeping with Heat Haze and Radiator. The burning question must be will Forge be fired up today?!?

The answer to the original question by the way, people, was that dear old Kylie refused to wait around backstage, after one of her concerts, and wish Mr Turner a ‘Happy Father’s Day’ on behalf of his daughter!

I thought this is a “Newmarket Nights” question. The Antipodean songstress was there on 19 June and it was a sell out. So I figured the pop pixie and her entourage took over the female jockeys changing facilities and forced the much younger horse pixie to use the broom cupboard. I figured we would have heard about that though.

There is still plenty of time left for Dina Asher-Smith, as she set a British record at the tender age of 19 when fifth in the World Championship 200 metres final. The future is hers.

When she blazed away winning her heats and her semi-final, it seemed quite obvious that she was going flat out to guarantee that she progressed to the next stage. Some of her opponents were doing just enough to make sure that they qualified, as seasoned athletes frequently do. Then when it came to the final, four of them ran their best races.

I loved the way that the BBC changed their headlines yesterday that originally read “Ohuruogu last in 400m final” to “Ohuruogu eighth in 400m final” because the latter does not read as badly.

Sheriff Of Nawton 7.30 Hamilton 20/1

No that's a straight 5-0 win to odddy. He cancelled out Nass' witicism and disrespected his wife's virtue in one fell swoop. Top work!

Decent effort from Swashbuckling in what was obviously a much better affair than his intended target last week.

I think the 2nd and 3rd will both win races, Swashbuckling was on his own in the centre of the course

    6.35 Goodwood - Gold Merlion- 10/3

Only had the one run but looked to be inexperienced that run she won that and will have improved from it too - looks to have more to offer and a MJ horse at goodwood has to have a good chance
