I'll see what the shirt is like to feel and if the sponsor can easily be removed and if so i shall buy the home or away depending on my preference at the time

I won't be spending £80 on shirts that shouldn't be such an awful design in the first place:p

sew is the right word, even though it looks weird.

good idea though, if you were talented enough at it. if i attempted it, i'd look like a patchwork quilt.

    Neither for me.

I don't like the templates, the home I think would have looked better with the colours reversed and the away kit should have had black adidas logo/stripes instead of white.

I have a problem with the sponsor - I've covered this on another thread recently.

I don't like the way the sponsor has been applied to the kits. The home kit it should have ended on black stripes and not in the middle of amber ones. Although saying that, if they'd done the home kit with reversed colours it'd look a lot better in terms of the sponsor as well, and if the away kit had the black stripes/logo then the sponsor's logo might not look quite so horrific. Should still have just been black lettering straight on the shirt though.

Other than that they're both really nice. :p

why not buy both shirts, cut out the cash conveters logo leaving a hole in the shirt as a protest.
this would not only get the attention of tigers management but would also capture the attention of the media!! would surly get you on the telly during the blackpool match.

Another idea is to color your chest the same colors as the shirt your buying, cut out the logo ,it would save buying two shirts and all that sewing..

If I wanted to make a fashion statement, I'd wear YSL or Gucci. But since I'm supporting my football team, I'll wear their replica kit. Let's be honest, it'll only be worn once a week to replicate my teams kit, so who cares what it looks like.

There's a little printer shop on Poland ave,Scribes, the owners a tiger, ill ask him what can be done.
Reading these threads, there could be some good business for him . Yer,covering that banner on the front would be the ideal solution. We'd be sending a message out to the club on how we feel about the sponsor, while the club wouldn't be losing important revenue.

Anyone remember the 'Coca Cola' which was altered to 'Cocaine'? 'Cash Converters' should be altered to 'Crack Converters' :emoticon-0103-cool:

I wont be buying either shirt due to the design and the fact that they have cash converters on (the cash converters logo could be tiny but i still dont think i'd buy it)

I'll continue to wear my pin striped home shirt/fusion blue away shirt this season and maybe buy some training gear etc.

The club wouldn't care about the message we'd be sending. They've got your money, that's all they want. The only way to let them know is not to buy the kit, buy a fake shirt without the sponsor, or design your own shirt and have it made up to wear as a protest.

Saying that, does anyone know where we could get one of the designs from the other threads made up, as a 'fans alternative'? I'm presuming there must be some of the iron on badges from last seasons shirts kicking around somewhere.
