    all fair enough.

player has to also look at himself. if he wants to be free role or no 10 he needs to do more than he did in preseason. he was so sloppy i would not trust him.. you see the manager can say ok ibe.. didn't play great but i know he's not going to give the ball away and flog a goal.. this lad... **** i dunno what if he just drops deep and dawdles on it. loses it and we lose a goal?

Its the same reason why rafa dumped garcia and brought in benayuon.....

Understandable. But he actually for me, scored a few goals and has bulked up enough to at least get a chance. A run of a few measly games at the beginning of the season to get his confidence up.

Had Ferguson played Ronaldo, a scrawny teenager from the Portuguese league at left wing back all season, the world would be out a great player. Maybe he'd do okay. Lazar did okay. But he'd be, according to Rodgers, not good enough and not fighting hard enough for his spot.

As talented as you are, you can't learn a brand new position when you're surrounded by the likes of Lovren and Lallana and Allen, the squad is reeling from the loss of Suarez, and your manager picks formations and favourites via dartboard. Rodgers was on thin ice for me as a fan and this has pushed me towards the Klopp in group. Whenever a signing does well, its to his credit. Whenever one doesn't do well, its a committee signing anyway, I didn't want him, he's gotta fight the players ahead of him like Lallana for his spot, etc. Clear favouritism and its been hurting the club since he got here.

Give him a ****ing chance this season where he deserves. I'm not scapegoating Lallana, who I like, but I'm saying that he's done enough to lose his spot. Give that spot to someone else and see where it goes. Other managers have gotten the most out of Markovic and they've done it by playing him in an attacking role without many defensive duties.

Mentioning this lad in the same breath as Ronaldo is laughable.

He showed he was a headless chicken, ran down blind alleys, had little end product and looked bang average. Ibe came in and outshone him, this lad is no superstar in the making.

  6. We could return the favour when the EL starts (assuming Brod plays a strong team)

Well since the great expert Tobes has spoken I suppose that ends this conversation then. Of course you know better than the experts who have considered him amongst the greatest youth products in Europe for a few years.

Behave lad. I used my eyes to come to a conclusion on him and how he performed in the PL. I couldn't give a **** what supposed experts have said about him (including you lol). The facts say he didn't cut it over here and was a £20m flop. Don't get your knickers in a knot because that leaves you with egg on your face after bigging this lad up as you did, get over it, he bombed and he's now been bombed out.

Doesnt make him a bad player. Very similar to De Bruyne. Both came to England, struggled and were shipped out. De Bruyne has gone on to become a star in the Bubdesliga and is now being touted for 50m. Now not saying markovic is going to be that good, but just because a player has 1 bad year in a new league when 20 doesn't mean they're a **** player.

Who hi knows maybe he impresses over in Turkey we keep him and he goes on to do well. Only time will tell, but Rodgers obviously doesn't think he'll get much game time this year and what's best for his development and our investment is he is out there playing.

We we either get back a better player, or his value doesn't decrease when we try sell him next year.

  12. Having chances would have helped Marko too. The games he played at WB were decent, he never got a chance further forward.

Rodgers patently isn't having him, otherwise he'd be going nowhere.

There'd be plenty of opportunity for game time at Anfleld this season given your EL commitments. You've swallowed the spin.

No idea how you've concluded that he'll either come back a better player or his value won't diminish? If he's as ineffective in Turkey then he'll be worth 2 balloons and a canary next summer.

Well a year in te reserves will make his value X. A year playing first team football will make his value X + something.

He might just prove that he's gash, so the third option is it'll make his value X - something.

Yeah mate, like being totally gash has done wonders for Balotelli's market value.........

Or is he simply going to Milan for some 'game time' as well like? <laugh>

Balotelli hasn't been playing hence his value being 0.. Further proves my point.

Same as Borini, he was **** but after a loan his value was 14m... A year not playing and his value is **** all now.
