What is disappointing is that when we got the ball down and played we looked good. But that only happened around Tadic. Tadic must play next match and we must go back to passing football. Just so bad.
To be fair, this is one moment when I can forgive everyone for getting angry and frustrated - means last seasons 7th place was a waste of time: didn't qualify for the group stages, and lost our key players. Just an awful performance tonight. Our attacking is not good enough.
He's been a dickhead tonight. I am ****ing fuming. That's without even bringing the negative tactics against Watford into the equation. I wouldn't be so angry if he hadn't waited an eternity to use his subs.
Of course I wanted to go through, but not as upset as I thought. We obviously have problems and we probably need to sort these out with proper training sessions rather than constantly playing games, especially when the other cups kick in as well.
Think it's fair to say that the 'big boys' have finally managed to tear apart lil ole Southampton. Core of the team picked away leaving a shell that cannot be fixed with 5 new £5mil signings. Disappointed, absolutely awful display. Credit to the Danes, tactics spot on again, have to say we couldn't have done more to help their game though.
That was rubbish without a doubt but before everyone thinks we're going to get relegated don't forget that we have a lot of players injured that would normally have played plus a new defender to come. The season is not over yet it's only August remember.
This will sort out the fans from the glory hunters. When they rubbish, they are my rubbish, when they are great everyone wants to know. Can I support Scousehampton instead? Only joking before the trolls erupt! Always look on the bright side, not easy with your eyes tightly closed.
Not surprised that we are out; after our EPL performances against Everton and especially Watford at the weekend. A lot of work needs to be done with this squad because they do not appear to be playing for each other at the moment and tactics look amiss. There is time to put this right and we have players to come back from injury - but Ron needs to get to grips with steadying the helm of our ship. Norwich will be a challenge because they are they have done well against Stoke (H) and Sunderland (A) the past couple of weeks - they are hard working, focused and motivated.
I normally hold back my opinion to think back over the game, but no point with this one. It's not so much the losing that upsets, it's the manner in which we lost. Unacceptable performance, poor tactics and an inability to pass and control the ball.
