Well just got back home from the south coast an overall not a bad day... It wasnt the best of games and to be honest I thought a draw would have been a fair result. We had a good away following of 3000 which was good fun and I think we made a lot of noise.. well it seemed so from our end!

Good attendance all round. Sounded good on the radio and I think we gave a good account of ourselves. Consider- all we had were 4 or 5 kids on the bench. Chelsea had another 15 squad players. Can't wait for the real action to begin now.

Of those kids FFD, Ryan Williams looks like he is definitely one for the future. Let's hope he gets a game in the U S of A, and is named on the subs bench at the start of the season.

I'm hoping Sam Magri will come through. He's sat near us in the North Lower for home games with his dad since he was a young nipper. Nice lad.

Chelseaboii333- you make the game seem uninteresting and unlively- well, check out this tackle on our new signing Luke Varney by JT !! :p

For a pre- season freindly, seemed a lively one to me- and listening to the commentary of the game- broadcasted for the radio- online the atmosphere seemed good and lively.

Can't wait for the new season now !!

Reckon him & Ryan Williams will get a chance to impress against Barnet. Two very promising players coming though, there. <ok>

No it was definitely a pretty fiesty game... especially between our two sets of supporters... there was one pompey fan in a white cap to the right of us who got really annoyed with us chelsea fans winding us up!
That said, they had to bring in extra stewards to our end because of a celery incident which was very funny. We were basically singing our celery song and chucking loads of it around and one piece hit a female steward who got pissed off with us. She then got hit again and decided to chuck it back leading to more chanting from us with the celery song and more pieces being chucked at her... was quite funny to be fair.

Have to say though, it was my first time to fratton park and they give you no legroom at all in the away end. Wasn't a big fan of fratton park at all... oh well.. we all stood up for the whole game anyway :)
Can't wait for the new season now !!
