As far as I'm aware there isn't one currently in existence. I mean I've met people at games from over here but there doesn't seem to be anything organised for going on trips to matches or even congragating in a bar if and when the matches are televised. I don't think there will be a great number of people but I also don't think that is important in trying to bring a bit of organisation into fan trips over to matches because from Belfast or wherever its a decent enough haul! Anyway, in facebook go to the search bar and search for 'Northern Irish Southampton Supporters Club' and join if you are from Northern Ireland, if you live there or have any ties whatsoever, or even if you just want to be kept up to date with when us rowdy lot are piling over for a game or want to get the numbers up Thanks in advance for your support, COME ON YOU REDS.
Thanks for the info IrishSaint. i will check it out. I'm not from ireland, but its allways nice to see fans pitching together i imagine alot of the irish surport man utt / chelsea / and the 2 scotish teams? i admire you're dedication for traveling down for games to, props to you man.
If we ended up with ten or so I would be very pleased I also started a group for fans from Northern Ireland supporting Championship teams so we can congregate all the banter away from the usual Premiership dross. Most of the Irish supporty Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool, I know a few fans from every team basically but those are the main English teams. The two Scottish are very heavily supported yes, not for me though.
i was born in northern ireland due to my dad being posted there, ballykelly, londonderry, but have lived in winchester for most of my life, but i support the green army and was at windsor park when super david healy scored that magical goal
Yeh Conman got you added there lad. See the thing is George Lucas, I don't even really support Northern Ireland and I'm from there. I wouldn't go to a match and I wouldn't care if they won or lost. I never got into the internationals really, I mean I would watch big competitions but I get too stressed from being a Southampton fan and it controls my whole mood enough without also suffering Northern Ireland's national team. That's just the way it is.
fair enough that is the only game i`ve been to at windsor park. it was a birthday present from my mum and dad, how they ever got tickets in the home end without a N.I address is still beyond me
