Tragic. By all accounts a decent bloke and talented driver. RIP - sadness for his wife and daughters. :emoticon-0106-cryin

This really is terribly sad. He was an absolutely tremendous bloke - when he was starting out in motor sport he couldn't afford the stratospheric costs, so started an investment scheme where people could buy 'shares' in his future career and subsequent earnings - it was quite a revolutionary thing at the time and allowed him to carry on with his career. Talented driver too, without a doubt, and never really had much of a chance in F1 driving the very average Jaguar. A really gentle, kind soul. Thoughts with his wife and kids.

Just reading about the boy who tripped and punched a hole in a £1m painting in Taiwan. Amateur. I did precisely the same (without the hole, admittedly) at the Orangerie in Paris, when I tripped and fell into Monet's waterlilies....

    I'm still banned.

I ran to catch a rugby ball at a friend's bbq and smashed straight through his rabbit hutch. No rabbits were hurt thankfully.

Yes but only into his garden. His dad was furious but me and my mate rebuilt it the next day.

Not sure they'd have let me loose with a paintbrush if I'd damaged it......

Something like this happened, in Italy, if I remember correctly. Or Mr Bean.

With the new Star Wars film fast approaching, I have decided to switch to a Chewbacca-based username paradigm. I will initially be Piebacca because it satisfies the criteria of being both Pie, and Chewbacca, in order to smooth the transition.

He looks like a [sadly] typical, overweight, heavy on his feet, clumsy, modern child, who spends far too much time in front of a games console [possibly with a fatty sweet drink by his side], or fleecebook, and not enough time outside in the fresh air actually doing something to make his body work underneath him.

He may also have done it on purpose. Of course, that's from the perspective of the overhead camera.

Why Pie anyway.? I've forgotten or don't know. Is it because you like pies or because you've spent time with a tiger in a boat at sea.? :)
