Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger hits out at Man City counterpart Roberto Mancini for publicly declaring an interest in signing Gunners midfielder Samir Nasri: "These comments are not allowed, it is against the basic rules of football and Roberto Mancini should be informed," Wenger told Sky Sports News. "What we want is respect. We will not comment on any players at other clubs. It is time football in England came back to these basic rules."

Hmm what about you publicly declearoing an intrest in Chambo! Think one should look at ones self!

Not sticking up for Wenger at all but has he publicly declared interest? All the articles I have seen Wenger actually talk about Oxo in he has just said that he is a talent, will be a great player etc. Most articles about Oxo and the Arsenal don't have quotes, just that he is going to sign for them, 8-15 mil and all that jazz.
Having said that there are probably thousands of articles on this matter and I have only seen 2% of them!!

If indeed he has been saying things like Mancini then yes pot kettle black, and hasn't he been hitting out at Barca too, similar stuff with Fabregas?!

Did he now! Sounds like he is a hypocrite then. Maybe he thinks it's ok because it's only a league 1 club (league 1 at the time I hasten to add!) and that unsettling mighty Arsenal players is a whole different matter!!!

Yep, one big massive case of double standards. Personally, I'm enjoying Arsenals difficult patch.

If the money was enough it may be good business all round. The problem only starts when you really don't want to part with the youngster. Nicola told a Saints fan in Switzerland that AOC will play for us next season if his head isn't turned..make of that what you will.

Football really is a messy old business Arsene you should know that of all people. Why does this man just not pack it all in and go home i am sick of him and his whining bleating French nasal tones and by the way stop sniffing around our young talent with your smarmy words of admiration. If you lookup the word hypocrite in the dictionary i am sure the definition would be Wenger

Lost all respect I had for Wenger now. I hope Nasri signs for Citeh and then scores a 99th minute winner against them to lose Arsenal the league.
