Wow what a lovely gesture from a top if slightly mental bloke.

He's still my personal all time favourite player for all his faults.

What the **** has he done to his arms? Just a blue mess.

Great gesture though from a legend, though personally he should keep it. A city fan scoring the winning goal to get his home town team into the PL for the very first time? If that was me, that shirt wouldn't be going anywhere.

Dean Windass has kindly donated the shirt that he wore when he scored the only goal in the 2008 Championship playoff final to send Hull City into the premiership for the first time in their history, to Walkington FC.

We are auctioning the shirt of which proceeds will go towards the football club and Dove House Hospice. The shirt will be sold to the highest bidder but we must make you aware that a reserve is in place and must be met.

Bids can be made through our website or by emailing your bid with contact information to [email protected]

Please share this post so we can get the word out to as many potential bidders and Hull City fans as possible.

Thank you in advance, AFC Walkington

He was only messing about, they're not expecting it to go anywhere near that high.

I thought he might of been but you never what he's up to!!

What's the expected value of the shirt?
It must be worth a few quid to the right buyer?

It would be a nice gesture for the Allams to buy it and put it on display in the KC club house. Its certainly a significant piece of our history. Btw what happened to the proposal to name a street near the KC after Deano or is there one at the BP development?
