Its the Capital One cup next up. With the same team playing the first 3 matches I would expect alot of changes for this. Everyone is fit other then Matty James. So here is what I would play Schmeichel Moore Wasilewski Benalouane Fuchs Albrighton Kante Inler Schlupp Ulloa Kramaric Subs- Schwarzer, Simpson, Chilwell, Hammond, King, Vardy, Okazaki
Would be good to see some youth - choudbury may be ready for a debut and if payatixiou(sp!) is still highly rated maybe him. If Moore and Chilwell will be loaned out may be worth thinking out not playing them due to making them cup-tied, or is that just the FA cup?
I can see these players getting a run out & why not. Thats a very good list of players. Schwarzer Moore Wasilewski Benalouane Fuchs Kante Hammond Inler Ulloa Kramaric plus 1 more, Albrighton may be rested for this one. A good chance for all the new boys to have a kick about.
Really doubt that CR will deviate from 4-4-2 but will give the new guys a run out. Will be interesting who will be captain as I see Morgan being given a rest.
Looks from the training photos that Panayiotou and Dodoo have been training with the first team so could expect to see either of them. Ranieri has said he will be changing the team around and that Inler will start. I'd like to see him paired with Kante in the midfield, and perhaps the two young strikers could play alongside a more experienced head, like Ulloa. Would also expect to see Kramaric involved at some point. Maybe an incredibly attacking team like this... Schwarzer De Laet - Benalouane - Moore - Chilwell Inler - Kante Dodoo - Kramaric - Panayiotou Ulloa
@RobTannerMerc: Predicted #lcfc line-up: Schwarzer, Benalouane, Moore, Wasyl, Fuchs; Dodoo, Inler, Hammond, Kante; Kramaric, Ulloa. Chilwell is on the bench
I'd take that lineup to be fair, though i would worry that the hodgepodge of youth and new signings may not gel very easily, though to be fair, i think it will help players like Inler and Kante show what they can do, like the game we had last season at MK Dons that showed what Cambiasso was capable of (which i think was some kind of friendly, possibly during the international break).
Seems like a fair few players out of position but enough quality in there to defeat Bury, no offence. I think Kante would be wasted out wide, hope that's not the plan for him.
I hope Kramaric gets 90 mins, really want him to get a good chance to show what he can do this season. Have hardly seen anything of him since he joined us and think he has real quality.
