Kinda lucky not to see red there. I think we were spared only because it was obviously a bone-headed tackle rather than a malicious one.
Romeu seems a good player, but he's got a card every game so far. Suspect he'll be missing games this season for accumulating too many yellow cards, definitely - but hopefully by that point the defense will be a bit more gelled.

I'm not turning on koeman by any means but something that has long frustrated me about him is he seems to take a while to make subs. This is a good example. It's clear we have nothing going forwards so should bring on davis and maybe change formation. But doubt a sub will be made until 75th minute.
I've been quite impressed with Yoshida recently. I was surprised by some of his play (in a good way) when he was playing right back the other day too - though don't get me wrong I'm not saying he should be our regular right back or anything. Was beginning to think I was the only one, since there still seem to be a lot of people complaining he isn't good enough!
Fair assessment. Not much cohesion really. But then we were pretty poor away from home at times last season too don't forget!
I wouldn't change anything yet. We're solid if uninspiring, which is fine given we're away from home.
**** sake Ron, we can all see that the midfield three are too defensive, we need a bit of creativity on there.
