    1. Donnolly - worked really hard - superb fitness level
    2. Dack (difficult to leave off the podium
    3. Osghilaga - I am liking him more and more

    BUT

then there was Houghton - class act. Jake Hessenthaler - getting better with each game. Egan - Mr.Dependable at the back. Jackson - great to see him getting forward and scaring teams (and that's just his throw ! ) Norris - also worked hard ( please shoot earlier - taking two touches too often - getting closed down !) ---- I'm just greedy for more Gills' goals. The others also did well.

Probably not a 'Champions' performance - but the quality of the opponents has been potentially as good as we'll face - we 've been strong and solid if not spectacular- but considering the blistering heat, I was impressed with the stamina of the players.

This was such a tough one to choose a top 3. Everyone was brilliant just like they were against Sheffield United.
    1. Bradley Dack- He was brilliant but it could have easily been any of about 5.
    2. Deji Oshilaja- Just looks like an unbelievable centre back. I feel for Ehmer as the way this lad is playing how will he get into the team.
    3. Jordan Houghton- Such a quality midfielder and he was in top form yesterday. Hopefully we can keep him and Oshilaja until the end of the season.

Special mention for Jake Hessenthaler he could have easily been named man of the match, he was simply brilliant. It was possibly his best performance of the season.
Also Rory Donnelly was amazing, he worked his arse off yesterday. I can see him and Cody potentially having a great partnership together. If Donnelly can add some goals to his game he will be brilliant. The fitness this lad has is unbelievable and the way he chases players down is just brilliant.

    I'm finding this really difficult to select a top three as we are playing together as a team. The only problem with this is my selection is becoming bias towards the style of players i enjoy, rather than noticing equally deserving others;

    1. Dack
    2. Dickenson
    3. Jackson

I need to pay more attention albeit difficult under the influence.

    1) Dack
    2) Josh Wright
    3) Rory Donnelly

However the CB's were as solid as ever and Dicko was great. Houghton is class.

    1. Bradley Dack.
    2. Brennan Dickenson.
    3. Josh Wright.

Yet another match where anyone from the eleven could be picked, times are good.

1 Dickenson. Missed one interception in the second half, otherwise faultless.
    2 Oshilaja. Hugely impressive mobility.
3 Hessenthaler. Just ran the show in the second half.
Of course Dack played well enough to be in the top three but his stupidity in getting a yellow card was just too unprofessional to warrant any further praise.

    1. Dack. Superb performance once again, two goals, won the penalty and ran the show.
2 Oshilaja. Wow, this guy is some player. Fantastic speed and skill and reads the game so well.
3 Donnelly. Tremendous workrate and two assists .
All the other players and of course the manager deserve an honourable mention for a terrific performance.

    1. Josh Wright - his ball play and his work off the ball was absolutely superb and he's one of the best ball playing midfielders I've seen at the club
    2. Oshilaja - pretty much cleared, tackled or headed anything that came his way. Even decided to go on a couple of sprints down the wing. Played very well and you can see why Ehmer can't get in the team.
    3. Houghton - won MOM and played very well, passed the ball well, was calm under pressure and turned defence into attack fairly quickly. Job well done.

But to be fair to the rest of the team though, it was another good team performance and many of those players could have got in. Norris was unlucky hitting the post, Dickenson put in another good performance, Egan solid as ever, the list could go on forever.

Any other teams trying to scout players you probably want to avoid Bradley Dack. He can't pass, can't shoot, definitely can't skill past players and he's got a dodgy haircut. Best off leaving him here <whistle>
