Morning all, I can not believe the weekend that I have had thanks to Princess on Friday and Chelsea yesterday. The knowledge and friendship on this forum is excellent. I love reading through the days posts and I really enjoy the banter. If only I had enough skill to offer my own bookie bashing tips. Keep up the good work folks, I'll book myself in for a liver transplant if we organise more high priced gems.
As above. I have a decent knowledge about racing but nothing compared to some on here, the amount of winners I have had in the last year is phenomenal and at good prices too. 40/1 yesterday and in the past 3 or 4 above 20s. I think this forum should be on that recent tv show about gambling.
Agree totally dont post often but look in most days and the analysis is brilliant. Long may it continue. Thanks all.
Good versus Evil at lunchtime today. Gatlin now odds on 8-11 to beat Bolt who has drifted to a very tempting 6-5 against to win 100 metres gold. Got to be having Bolt to win this surely.
Personally I hope Bolt headbutts the cheating bastard during the announcements before sluicing to a new world record. Other than that, I'm on the fence.
The bookies know what they are doing, don't let the heart rule the head when it comes to gambling. Hope you quit your Serena theory after the first couple of rounds.....winners thrive on winning!
I really don't think Bolt would be competing if he wasn't 100%. If he thought there was a chance he'd get beat. I reckon he'd have pulled out before hand stating injury. Bookies obviously altered prices after heats but Bolt's always done just enough in his heats to get through the excelled in finals. I'd be very surprised come this aft if Gatlin has won the race. I'm not bothered either way. Gatlin has served the ban imposed on him, whether I agree with it or not he's done 'his time' so to speak and has been running extremely quickly this year and you've got to believe he'll be one of the most drug tested athletes in the world so we can assume he's clean. I just hope it's a decent race and doesn't disappoint.
Sea Moon makes his UK return under the subtle stewardship of John Oxx this afternoon in the Irish St Leger trial. Having not made the big impact they hoped for down under, he was sent back to the UK to re-discover some of his best form. As it turns out, it hasn't been quite so straightforward, with the horse somehow surviving life-threatening shipping fever when travelling back to the UK- read more here: http://www.skysports.com/racing/new...a-moon-could-make-an-amazing-return-to-racing
It's a complex debate but researchers are beginning to show that benefits of anabolic steroids can have gains that last beyond their bans. So you could potentially 'serve your time' but still be in a physically advantageous position as a result of cheating.

I'm no expert but this has been in the press recently and will become a big part of the consideration process as to punishment for drug cheats I would have thought. I have my doubts about the guys cleanliness because he's 33 years old and running times he hasn't ever done in his supposedly peak 20's.
Bolt has had a decline in his times since the Jamaicans got caught out a few of years back, speaks volumes to me, I would put a hefty money on him being juiced back then when Campbell and Powell were caught out. Powell, Gay and Gatlin should not be running and that really spoils the sport for me which I can't take seriously now. Problem is Bolt brings in the big money like Carl Lewis used to, they did not want to reveal his cheating until years later, they will do all they can to keep the money rolling in.
