At the back I thought Hall should get special mention. Won almost every header. He's Almost like Clinton Hill. In the middle, Chery was great, wanted to get involved in every single last bit of the game. Not many people will have noticed him but Henry put in a proper shift today and had some great first touch passing. Luongo's first time control of the ball is almost perfect.
I suspect that you may have nine different names mentioned! I'm biased beyond redemption so, Ale Faurlin bty a country mile! What does look good is the combination of Faurlin, Chery & Luongo. Long may it continue. Ale can have a rest on Tuesday, play at Huddersfield followed by a break for the international weekend. I'm sure Doughty can stand in for him against Carlisle.
I would have said Faurlin, but he seemed to fade quite a bit before he was subbed. Chery was excellent too, but I would have to give it to Austin.
Konchesky for me, was very much improved, probably helped by Greens early distribution. Couldent believe how small he is in the flesh. Great day out and will be back soon for more of the same. Very emotional day with Stan the man on the pitch before the game and at half time.
Second game in a row we have multiple candidates. It's all good. Something positive in this, they may now be playing for their manager. Hope it lasts.
