I just heard it. My mate is at the game and told me. He looked quality, but before he went off just walked. Didnt do any running. doesn't look good.
Not looking good. Its on the swans website. Says he started well and set up the goal but went of stretching his knee and rodgers immediately following him. Hope its just a niggle :s
Absolutely gutted, let's hope it's not serious and just a precaution. edit. OS now saying it's his hamstring. Let's hope so.
But it was Bodde's last piece of the action as he left the field three minutes later stretching his hamstring before going straight down the tunnel with manager Brendan Rodgers in pursuit. Lee Lucas hit the post in the 25th minute for the Swans and Beattie had his second goal ruled out for offside two minutes later, but Bodde was still the story among the Swansea City faithful around the ground at that point. The Swans remained in control, however, as Angel Rangel added the second in the 36th minute after starting and finishing a fine move with Beattie.
Yes its his first game back, he will take time to get back into things, I would rather him playing 15 mins now and slowly going back into full flow, I think should things go well, he will be an impact sub for the forthcoming season.
Yeah it's changed to hamstring now, difficult to tell if it was that or his knee probably but we'll find out later probably. Nice to see Rangel scoring and with most of our forwards playing against Neath, to see goals in the PT game is promising!
Phew...it originally said knee and i though oh god i thought he would at least make the beginning of the season
Just got back from the games today! Personally im not too worried about Bodde, I don't think he ran around enough for the knee to go! Hoping he just over stretched when playing a ball out wide to Casey Thomas......although I may be wrong, but I hope not!
I really feared when he walked off, but at the sametime a bit confused as he didn't seem to hobble!! Still thought that was it again. But was reassured early second half that it was his hamstring. Relieved, but could be an edgey period until we know he's truly back. If at all!! But still looked class whilst on... C'mon Ferrie....
Well lets hope it's something about nothing, on a completely different subject, must admit that some of these lads that we are fielding, make me concerned for our youth development, seeing Scott Tancock in the line up makes you really wonder what the hell we are playing at, I'm sure those youngsters that have played against this lad will be laughing at this, the guy is useless, and it is worrying when we field such poor young players. hell we need to give the boot to this Tony Pennock, if this is all he can come up with!....................... please log in to view this image
