0-0 HT. Proper HT this time.
We look slow and devoid of ideas. We've had quite a lot of the ball, but rarely threatened.
Leicester look content to sit back, work hard and hit us on the break, for the most part.
They've done a pretty good job of it and had glimpses.
Ranieri will be the happier manager.

Apart from Kane I just don't see any spark from any of the players. They look lumpen, devoid of any creativity, ponderous and incredible average. Just not a good sign as i don't see Poch having the character to change that. I think Levy has has handicapped him we are in for a torrid season.

Poor first half all around. We look shakey when exposed to Leicester's pace in attack but we're just about dealing with it now.

More importantly we're struggling to create much and are crying out for some pace in attack. Get Rose on in the second half and get him playing down the left, he'll give them something to think about.

Never a penalty though. Commentator seems to be able to see Vertonghen holding Mahrez's shirt but is completely unaware of Mahrez doing the same to Jan when it's right infront of his face.

I would get Rose on to provide an outlet down the left instead of Davies, who hasn't been shocking but doesn't have the pace Danny has, and Carroll on to play some football in midfield. Happily take only one of Lamela, Dembele or Dier off for him.

I think that Dembele's done ok, apart from picking up a random, cheap booking.
I'd take off Lamela, who hasn't done anything and chuck Carroll or Alli in.

The last thing we need both fulbacks bombing on to provide width. I think Rose further up would give us some better cover for Mahrez who's looking lively.

Dembele has been the most dangerous player out there for us. Looks like Lemela hasn't picked up on the subtle "You need to step up and prove yourself" messages going out... From everyone

We need to be more dynamic going forward, and that's the one thing we won't get with Dembele in the attacking trio as the work he does in the high press is undermined by his conservative passing.

Either a straight swap Carroll, or we introduce Alli while moving Lamela to the right and Mason into the attacking trio. Either option will get the team moving with a little more urgency.

Two shots on target... One produced a good save. Conservative in his passing yes, sometimes, but he's looked willing to shoot.

  10. This is going the way I knew it would, so I cannot be upset.

At the moment, a point is looking like a good result.

You lot are so gloomy...we have a clean sheet...and we have been lulling them into a false sense of security and we will surprise them with an early second half goal quickly followed by 2 others...mark my words

Excellent ball by Walker for Chadli. Really well executed.
Poor finish. Should at least test the keeper.

Walker follows up his earlier good ball with an utterly **** one. Aimless.

Think Kane was free at the top of the box too, from that angle could have looked for the cutback too...

He may have had a couple of shots, but he isn't a player who's going to create anything.

That being said, each of the attacking trio is finding new ways to undermine any forward momentum: Chadli's been misplacing passes while Lamela's been giving away cheap fouls far too often. Poch needs to tell him you can only get away with niggly fouls for the whole game if you play for Man Utd, because the ref doesn't see them...

Another dangerous ball from Walker and somebody really should be putting that away.
