The Dutchman was speaking at his press conference ahead of the club's clash with Swansea at the weekend. In the first two games Sunderland have lost twice to Leicester and Norwich, with little resistance put up by a team who only just about stayed up last season. "Every player is for sale if the player wants to go, he can go." Advocaat said on Friday. please log in to view this image Lee Cattermole has not impressed in the opening games. Newly promoted Norwich won 3-1 at the Stadium of Light last week to ensure the Black Cats had no points from the first possible six. Advocaat will be looking for a response from his players on Saturday, otherwise many of his players will be heading for the exit door. please log in to view this image Jeremiah Lens looks dejected after the Norwich loss. This time it took a bit longer because the players could also say something," he said. "During the week they had a meeting with only the players, but it's only positive. "I understand a little bit the (media) comments and the articles, but normally the panic starts in March or April, but it seems to have started now and that's quite early." please log in to view this image Yann M'Vila made his debut in the Norwich loss. "There is no doubt about that. "Maybe we need a little more time than others but you will see that we can only improve. "Some teams maybe are already at the top, but we are not. "That is an element that we have discussed. This team has to go to the edge, fighting-wise, spirit-wise and we did not do that. "If you don't do that, the players miss a lot and they understand totally that we have to fight from the first minute to the last minute to get a result, but also to get our fans behind us. "We will do that on Saturday, there is no doubt about that."
Fair enough. If anyone wants to jump ship then they can **** right off. Means they haven't the stomach for a fight and the shirt they wear means **** to them.
has the balls that PDC and Poyet had at times, but DA has the experience and proof of worth to back his decisions.
The general is coming good and telling it like it is. Hopefully this is the kick Up the arse the players so clearly need.
He's also been quoted as saying, "Jermaine Defoe will play where I tell him to play." Taking no **** off the whingers, I like his style.
I like it a lot, tell it like it is Dick, don't mix your words mate. Sounds like he's taking no **** anyway.
That all depends on whether they all give a **** what he says. I don't see much interest in any of our players anyway, which tells its own story!
The very fact that he came out with that statement says a lot mate. Taking into account when he said 'some players are playing at there maximum' and 'we need to strengthen' more or less tells you he knows we have a crock of **** in the squad and he knows it. Also says a lot about the squads attitude doesn't match his.
