few season ago i sat there, got told to 'sit down and shut up' i said '**** u, what u going to do' few mins later i was being drag out of the stadium, bad times in chapel, funny tho haha
Yes there are a few of us that sit in chapel..........Believe me we do make a lot of noise in our section. You can hear us passing wind quite frequently actually. Joking aside we have our moments, however the acoustics are not good and the few of us that our singing our heads off cannot alas be heard. I have a relative who sits in Kingsland near to the corner with Northam who swears he has heard me shout for the team to get out of the penalty area after a corner or something. Which is almost directly opposite where I sit. So I would argue we are heard occasionally!!
Ok, I'm in the Kingsland but dead centre.......so what do I choose, Kingsland north or south????? Aaarrrgggghhhhh!!!!! LOL I'd not sat in the Kingsland before I got my ST in 2006, I just wanted to get a good view of everywhere so thought smack bang in the middle would be perfect. I must admit I'd like to be sitting nearer Kingsland north as it seems to be a better atmosphere. I don't think the Northam is too 'thuggery' but they seem to spend more time watching and shouting at the away fans than they do watching the game.
Unless you are dead dead center... then select the side you are nearer lol Sorry to confuse you I didnt wanna make the options too much, just a basic there abouts answer would be great! COYRs!!!!!!!!
And id agree with the Northam comment in reg to block 42. They seem to enjoy giving the away fans and even the home fans (when in block 43) a hard time. Block 40/41 is okay tho
Always been in Kingsland. Not ST holder anymore but usually sit in same seat (unless some barsteward has chosen it for a new ST this year)...close to midline (only place to watch football from IMO), no sun in eyes and out of rain..carefully chosen when we left the Dell. Purely fortuitous that it has turned out to be fairly close to Northam.
Yeah I once sat there against Exeter on boxing day in kingsland south because the family came, and the noise was pretty good tbh, also sat there against Blackpool cos brought my tickets too late and again wasn't to bad!
Chapel for this season, change of circumstances and not my preference. Northam the past 4 years but would be open to move to the Northam/Kingsland corner or the Itchen in future.
Sorry folks i am in a minority group Kingsland south i enjoy peace and quiet when watching my footy i am getting on a bit but my two sons are now losing patience with me and are showing signs of independence and rebelion and are looking to head north leaving me with the stattos and my werthers good luck to them oh to be young
I like being in Kingsland North and soak up the atmosphere and listen to the singing and join in on clapping and Saints Come Marching In, but no way would I want to be in Northam. Horses for courses and this particular horse has been put out to grass.
Well, as of yesterday, I can now say.... ST holder..... Kingsland North, Block 35. When I phoned and a young lady answered, I really wanted to ask if she had anything available in 36 DD....
Normally sit in Kingsland North (Block 37 or 38), occasionally Itchen South (if sat with my brother who has a ST there), had a couple of corporates in Itchen Centre when in the Prem. Sampled Block 43 for the Walsall game as it made a change and was directly behind the goal, and got loads of abuse from some drunk idiots in Block 42 who thought waving their ST in the air somehow makes them better fans than the rest of us!! Might try Itchen North next, can't afford a ST so move around when I want to......COYR
I go with mates from work who are mainly Saints supporters. Normally get down there for a couple of games a season, went to the Walsall game & that was good, but we always seem to get to the Leeds game
