    Would be an improvement. Similar to Faurlin, someone who can play but also stand up physically.

    The Ream signing was all about personal terms - FFC have got money to spunk at the mo' - we are limited to the paltry £20k p/w

    Imagine only earning £20k p/w - breaks your heart doesn't it...

    Correct but he then span the whole thing and Austin was hyped as IMO he still is ... He did great for us last year with 18 goals he also missed 18 goals because he snatches at goal and is one dimensional IMO
    He was called up for England and never played
    It's only this country that over hypes its players and lumps on stupid price tags ... Austin is better off staying with us until he gets better
    If we get a offer of 15m then snap their hand off IMO because like Hooper he could become a flop if a top six pay the dosh he won't get a game
    It people like Redknapp who have made the game so daft
    Hooper 35k a week a flop
    And we paid Barton 70k did we not?

    Yes, agreed. Unfortunately, if we can see his (current) limitations, then so can professional managers, hence why no-one has stretched to £15m.

    If he can score 18 goals in a related team, how many can he score with much better players around him. If Kane is worth 40 Mill then Charlie must be worth 15. Silly money either way, Carragher says he is worth 8-10 Mill, but what does he know!
