Its actually quite scary how good our u21 team would be if we played all of our U21 players. Pointless though as they are all above the level.

Tex looks good when he plays for senior side. I only imagine how he looks in u21.

 

Tex should be getting senior level football championship level or above by now, not wasting away in u21s.

It was a corner and then your CB hauled Holgate down as he got away from him with a fistful of shirt in his hands - Skrtel would have been proud of it. Nailed on penalty

Weird how having his shirt pulled back caused him to fall forwards and only once the ball was beyond him like

Was getting it at Brighton last year by broke his leg 3/4 way through. Was very good then average then good again as the season went on. Would love to see him back at Brighton this year as hopefully they'll be fighting for play offs rather than relegation and Tex should perform better as a result.

 

I thought that was pretty half asked.

There was no reply team support by lfc... players knocking it between each other and no intent to take it on themselves... lacked intensity too.

Not too pushed but you'd want your coach at least reacting to Everton s switch in formation...... That's what I'd wonder. ..

Oh and the impression I got of teix easy not to arsed.

Things went to pieces in the second half - Everton naturally attacked more and Ilori going off at HT didn't help.

 

our team had randall, maguire, rossiter.... they all looked like they never played together before by the time i got homt to see. it was 3-0 and they score off a deflection.

IMO it was pretty poor organisationally to lose control of that game.

but then.... who really cares... its about development of players and i really think there might have been at most 2 guys o nthe pitch with any chance going forward.

 

First half was brilliant - Rossiter was very good in the middle.

But yeah, lost control in second and saw the same bad habits as the first team.

 

rossiter is not fully fit to me... long way off.

teix was disinterested... not giving the display i'd want if i was looking for if i was watching as a first team manager.

 

Tex faded in the second half but first half, he ran the show.

Ilori was solid but didn't have much to do in the first half, then came off at HT.
