Depay is a brilliant talent - has potential to become world class. He was the player I wanted to replace Sterling.

22m straight up plus additional based on performances. So far he's done nothing that earns them that additional money <ok>

    Agreed.

The 100% reliable Transfer League has Firmino listed at £29million and Depay at £25million.

I believe if we win everything Depay will cost us £31million.

So its 29 for Firmino which includes add on a but only 25 for depay and don't include the add ons.

Only way Firmino will be more expensive is if he out persons depay then <whistle>

Nope just comparing like for like. Initial fees 22m v 25m and add on totals 29m v 31m

so like I originally said, Firmino was actually cheaper and will be if both hit the required targets

I posted this at the time..........

Note the comment from Tony Barrett.

In any case the fees are irrelevant to the OP, which was about footbal, wasn't it?

    So far, it's advantage Depay.

No I was comparing the initial fees as listed by the 100% reliable Transfer League. The Firmino fee at £29million is backed up by the 100% reliable Wikipedia. The Liverpool Echo thought the fee was in the region of £30million but what do they know?

Can't we just all agree that Firmino now regrets not joining United, and if he had, he AND Depay would now both be the best thing since sliced bread <whistle>

EDIT: He'd still be on the bench mind, as Depay would start

8 of the players who played last night were in the team that played in that QF

...and the other 3 were new signings

2 on the bench, one off injured first half, and another sent off.

So 4-5 of the QF players actually played. And saying they made the QF means they lost the QF.

So 8 of the players then, just like I said?

    Plus 3 new signings

Thanks for clearing that up <ok>
