Would just like to say a big thank you to everyone that posts on here. I know I don't post much but I am an avid reader of everything that gets posted on here (first thing I do in the morning & last thing at night-my southern lass thinks I've got done kind of OCD/mental problem...try telling her that's what being a Sunderland fan is all about!!) Living down south this (apart from family up there) is the only link I have to what's happening up there. Not going to name names as I love everthing that gets posted on here (even when the daft mags try to wum & get torn a new arsehole!) Anyway well done & please keep it up (think I may be a lil tipsy from last night, lol!)
Lol. Knew I shouldn't have had them shots at stupid o'clock this morning! Always makes me emotional, fall in the local canal & get a disapproving look as I clamber into bed on me hands n knees!!
Suppose what I was trying to say is it's like having another Sunderland mad family on here! Making it worse aren't I!! That's it, never drinking again!!taxi!!!
Lambton Worm "Would just like to say a big thank you to everyone that posts on here. I know I don't post much but I am an avid reader of everything that gets posted on here." Exactly my sentiments, LW. And I'm sure there are thousands of us out here thinking the same. Well done and thanks to everyone who participates actively in this forum. (I suppose it's comforting to know that there are people just as mad as I am on Sunderland AFC. It also makes up for the widening gap that Syd was talking about between club and fans. Niall Quinn and not606 keep us together.)
Join in with the banter mate, reading other peoples comments is good, but we'd like to hear your thoughts, (Don't forget some of the veterans on here aren't getting any younger, and we need young blood to continue the fight against the dark side of the north )
Me too Lambton Worm, not far from you really here in Bedford, moved down here in 1979 with Mum, Dad, and Brother and Sister, but all of my relatives still in Sunderland, still get goosebumps when I see Penshaw Monument driving up on the A1. Quality place and my Southern wife loves the place and the people (when she can understand them) LOL. Still will love Sunderland for the rest of my days.
You sound a real good lad mate: As has been said, it would be great to read more on your thoughts on the lads.
You're not a spy are you? My name is not Chunky, I'm Johnny Ray Elvis Presley Costello & I come from the planet Thard & cannot be trusted!!!!!!!
