HIAG's been called a lot of things on here, but suggesting that he's a Man Utd fan is going too far.

I'm not sure if going down to The Isle of sheppy for some jellied eels counts as a 'coastal retreat'

Are you suggesting that you are famous ?

(And I don't just mean because you've got a high score on guitar hero)

  10. That depends on how you define "fame," PISKIE.

I reckon we have different definitions.
Yours seems to be impressing the cat when you rock out on the Playstation, or getting an extra gold star on your McDonalds uniform.

  12. Well, at least I'm famous in my own mind, then. Can we agree on that?

I find this thread a good/funny read to be honest <ok>

Is it me or does @SpursDisciple come across as a very over protective weirdo?

    Perhaps it's just me...

We all know HIAG is more than capable of looking after himself and does in 'fine' fashion. I just can't get my head round the fact that this disciple chap is some kind of internet protector...odd.

He does have a slightly worrying over protective interest in HIAG.

Maybe his day job is looking after the afflicted also

Being serious, I don't feel protective at all about him, as you say he looks after himself and when he lands himself in the sticky stuff I have no compunction to join in. Editgate being a recent example - you wont find any comment from me on that. I actually find the attention on every nuance of what HIAG syas or does really dull, so if I get involved it is because I am bored with the conversation.
If you've enjoyed this thread, you'll love the Maureen thread and the Daily Arsenal thread. I find them tedious beyond belief.

  20. Editgate was a fascinating example of bait continually throwing itself onto the line to be caught by a Master Fisherman of Gooners, who was sat bored and dreaming of more difficult fish to catch.
