HIAG's been called a lot of things on here, but suggesting that he's a Man Utd fan is going too far.

 

I'm not sure if going down to The Isle of sheppy for some jellied eels counts as a 'coastal retreat'

We all know HIAG is more than capable of looking after himself and does in 'fine' fashion. I just can't get my head round the fact that this disciple chap is some kind of internet protector...odd.

 

He does have a slightly worrying over protective interest in HIAG.

Maybe his day job is looking after the afflicted also

Being serious, I don't feel protective at all about him, as you say he looks after himself and when he lands himself in the sticky stuff I have no compunction to join in. Editgate being a recent example - you wont find any comment from me on that. I actually find the attention on every nuance of what HIAG syas or does really dull, so if I get involved it is because I am bored with the conversation.

Editgate was a fascinating example of bait continually throwing itself onto the line to be caught by a Master Fisherman of Gooners, who was sat bored and dreaming of more difficult fish to catch.
