Gomez looking very good now.

 

Benteke has showed some encouraging signs.

I'm going to have to disagree about that. His first few months in England he looked great, he's always been **** for us.

Shaky start, got into it as the game went on though.

Ibe has been poor. Not offered anything.
Milner/Hendo passing the ball nicely
Lallana come into it the last 15 minutes of the half and looked a lot better.
Coutihno been the star so far.

 

Needs to work on finishing with his lefty

Would have been fairly confident he'd have scored that had it been on his righty.

 

He's never looked good for LFC.

 

Bournemouth stated well as expected but we started to take control, also expected.

Their goal was wrongly disallowed, ours should have been offside.

Lallana, Benteke, Milner, Clyne and Hendo all playing well. Coutinho as been our best obviously.

Ibe's been disappointing and a bit starved too

 

Ibe and lallana for ings and firmino. Really start to tear into them.

 

Milner and Hendo got better after an awful start.

Don't agree with Lallana though - anonymous. Only time I notice him is when he chases and presses.

 

I remember being pleasantly surprised at first. Didn't last very long but his first appearances wernt bad.

 

Think Coutinho, Benteke, Clyne and Milner have been good. Hendo not bad either. Skerts has been a bit wayward with his passing. Ibe has done nothing really. Lallana has been average, except for a couple of moments. Gomez still has a lot to learn as a left back. I know he is really a centre back but he has been caught out a bit.

Our goal should not have stood under the new offside rules as Coutinko was certainly interfering with play when he tried to poke it in.

Ibe and Lallana just not cutting it in attack. Get Can and Firmino on and let's dominate the game.

 

Yup..all asleep for first part of half, starting passing it about.

With same team we have more width down both sides than last match but Ibe needs to do more.

Impressed with Bentekes running, our supporting players need to learn to trust he will win the majority of the balls up to him and gamble on being around him..just needs time together I suppose.

FB's have come into game more and more.

Coutinho got better and better as half went on. More of the same please!

 

Benteke is EXACTLY what we needed. We're not predictable anymore, he's clinical, holds the ball up perfectly for the likes of Coutinho et al.

I was happy when we signed him, and I'm sure over the course of the season those that weren't will soon change their minds.

He gives us a plan A, and a plan B. We've missed a proper number 9 (especially last season). I expect him to get 20+ this season for sure.

On serious note, he won the ball back a few times, played nice ball through to Benteke, won a dangerous free kick after anticipating and intercepting the ball. Made a good run into the area and was picked out but had his shot blocked off.

 

Hopefully ref doesn't watch tapes at half time and try to "even it up" 2nd half.

 

Was attacked earlier on this game and was embarrassed. Once the team took control, he looked better because he's had little to do since.
