I am fed up with waking up most Monday's miserable with our results of many years really.

Take money of the table and would love a stint in the championship playing lesser teams (and hope) for more wins than loses and having a smile on my face on the mentioned Monday.

Did someone say we haven't won a first home game since Spurs in 2007, and if I recall that was an injury time winner by chopra, now there's a ironic statement, chopra

I'd hate a stint in the Championship regardless of beating the 'lesser' teams.

Saying that I also hate battling relegation year after year.

Short needs to gather a few of his uber rich friends start a consortium, and start investing in SAFC.... cos it doesn't look he will on his own.

I'm happy - I have a lovely wife 10 years my junior, 2 fantastic kids, had a fantastic weekend of gigs (Friday and Sunday) and out on the piss (Saturday) celebrating my 40th and my wife's 30th and I like my job.

Don;t get me talking about football though...

Like Marcus I am completely happy. I have a fabulous wife (13 years) and 2 wonderful kids. I have a great job, great boss and work with some amazing people. I rarely talk about football as its lost its impact on me; not just Sunderland but football in general. That said I still enjoy reading this site and will continue to do so but the woes of SAFC simply does not effect me anymore

Don't let it get to you mate. There are more important things in life. Support them with all you've got but don't let the buggers get you down! Saturday was the best day of my life, not even giving those slack ****s a second thought. They'll win next week :)

Why would anybody go fishing for flies? Just leave a little bit of dog **** on your window ledge and you'd have about 100 in no time.

I used to go to the sands in durham behind the ice rink and stand in the middle of the river catching trout and salmon! Lot of years ago now - even had a 4lb Barbel fishing the fly!! - I like my coarse fishing more now - but am a bit of a "fair weather fisherman!"
