one of my pet hates is the commentator's use of the phrase "unearthing a gem" I think it was Barry Horne who described Ayew as that during Saturday's game. Former African Player of the Year, appeared at 2 World Cups, bags of Champions League experience during his time at Marseille, can he really be considered an unearthed gem until now? saying that, the same was said about James Rodriguez at last year's world cup when he head already been signed for 45 million Euros the previous season!
