When you have a side like Arsenal pinging the ball around, someone who can break it up and slow it down to let you get into the game can be useful.
If we need to move one more out and its a choice of thudd, daws or Elmo? For me it's thudd to go! IF we get the right money?
Back from Spain next week to get stuck into all this transfer nonsense and sort out the wheat from the chaff. Good weather and plenty of action seen by hot rod
I would sell Thudd in a heartbeat, only issue is he's the best of a bad bunch in midfield until we get Diame.
I don't know if the club have or not, but if they haven't why don't they try renogiating the contracts of players that have release clauses that we want to keep?
I doubt they would renegotiate, the buy outs are in for the players not the club.......... Bruce just said 4 or 5 of them have the clauses, i am guessing Dawson Huddlestone Elmo Jelavic and possibly Diame?
Oh dear, OLM, that sounds ominously like a Doctors diagnosis rather than you own. You are only in your early fifties so I am assuming that you have been drinking the 'hard stuff'. I wish you well.
I know they are for the players. Re negotiate with the player with incentives for promotion and wins maybe +xx% on their current reduced terms with a buy out clause that kicks in at the end of this season if we don't get promoted. At least we could then have a settled side and Bruce wouldn't keep on bringing it up in interviews.
