Ok, I'm a week late but have just tuned into this abomination of a show. It really is utterly shocking. The budget must have run to possibly tens of pounds. A nice touch however, is to rope in what appears a bunch of care in the community ******s to give the poor sods (a rotten) evening out as they all stand around looking aimless, confused and bored. Just wait till they have the joy of our pi55poor performance today to relish. At least the grey post directly to the left of my "gold" season ticket seat obscured 20% of the pitch so my experience today was only 4/5's as awful as many of the attendees.
They had a guy in a QPR shirt in the audience this week and Clint is on next week....but other than that awful
After all my moaning last week the wife put her foot down and so I had to sit through Casualty with her last night. I did turn over to catch the segment before MOTD started though; it seemed that they are now showing the games in league sequence though I could not be sure. The league tables have different colours and it is funny that it is obvious that neither presenter had ever seen a league table before getting the job on this show; they look genuinely pleased with each other when they have been able to point out who is top of the table and who is second.
Those who watched for the first time today claiming it was awful should know that it was actually an improvement on the first show, which will say how abysmal that was, so it appears that the producers have listened to some of the criticism. There was more structure this week in that the leagues were dealt with in order. Less aimless walking around the studio and a bit more sensible analysis.
The phrase 'polishing turds' springs to mind. I didn't watch it last night, as last weeks clusterphuck has put me off for life. Utter crap!
