Haha well I've moved to Oxford (not as posh as I had first imagined!) but it isn't too bad here. The north has its charms. The people make it what it is.
Couldn't agree more Cest, the club is ****ed. They are clueless as to how to run a football club and we are going down the ****ing leagues unless something big changes.
I honestly thought he'd drop Coates and put O'Shea on to steady the ship this week, baffled by that one, unless he's carrying an injury?
To be honest the only way I can see us getting out of this vicious circle is relegation. The only way I might be able to actually enjoy supporting my team again is for us to take one step back in the hope of making two steps forward. Its a risky strategy, things may get worse after relegation, but I'm willing to take that risk. I just cant handle another season of my team being represented by probably the worse bunch of players ever to grace the Premier League. There has been worse teams on paper, but the majority of them have tried. Our players are a disgrace and embarresment to English football nevermind the Premier League and the sooner the ****ers get us relegated the better. There comes a point, and I think I have reached it, when you can only hold your hands up and say 'We are ****, our player recruitment is ****, nobody of any real quality will come to us, so I'm sorry, we dont deserve to be in this league.' I feel like we have been stinking the place out for far too long now with our presence. Our place in the top league should be taken by a team with players who would tear their bollocks off for a chance to play Chelsea, Man U etc. Our ****ers dont deserve the privilage!
I was hoping that he would stick with the same pair, in the hope that they may get their confidence back in a winnable game. Boy was I wrong.
It may be early days, but surely DA got an indication last week of just how ineffective our central defenders were. Seven goals against in two games says it all for me. The experienced talent sat on the bench was criminally wasted when a tighter defence could at least have given us hope.
He's a defensive midfielder. Do you think he's a creative player? His job is to break up the play and keep possession, he done that and as you can see his passes nearly always found the man.
Oh do **** off!Should I be doing ****ing back flips. We were at home against newly promoted Norwich and we got ****ing humped. They were embarrassing. Wake the **** up you moronic idiot.
You are a miserable ****, I have no doubt you walk about all day with a face like a slapped arse. Everything you say is depressing and you can't see the good in anything. I pointed you towards some stats about M'Vila which was encouraging and not stats that any of our other midfielders would ever have and you even whinged about that. Miserable ****.
We have to try and stay in the premier league. At the moment I think we could drop through the leagues like a stone. I agree we are stinking the place out though.
M'vila looked as though he could be a beastie to me - thought he did his job tackle, win the ball then move it
What a complete load of ****e. Your statistic was pointless ****ing rubbish! He completed 96% of his passes! Whoopdidoo! He might only of had 5 passes of 6 yards to make. At least discuss his performance. Rather than banal statistics. Of course I'm not miserable. I'm just ****ing sick of sunderland being ****e.m'vila really was average. Watch him back tonight. However I was impressed by Whatmore. He showed the rest of the team what it was to be a footballer today and his post match interview was mightily impressive. Spoke very well you needed. However he is in the last year of his contract and if he does well he will leave for nothing due to the ineptitude of the board.
The biggest disappointment for me today was Cattermole, he was trying long distance passes that were inaccurate and gave Norwich possession to easily. The first goal came indirectly from his loose ball.
His fee will be decided by a tribunal, we will get something. I have shouted about youth for ages, there's also another youth sitting on the bench today who I would like to see starting. We need the 'first teamers' to know the youngsters are knocking on the door and waiting for their time to shine as at the moment the squad is to small and there's barely any competition. Left back is a prime example.
I agree with that, rather than bridcutt and buckle being on the bench I'd rather youth be given a chance. It would free up wages. Dick has to be willing to play them though. Mandron has deserved a go. We know what we are going to get from Fletcher and Graham and it's rarely great.
