How we all feeling about the game today? I really think if we can keep them out for the first 30minutes we could go on to nick it.
If Tony Watt is not playing, not as confident as I was when I first wrote. Then again Reza or KAG might be able to do the job. Think we still got what it takes to beat them, Derby have their own woes
I can see a win, looking like 3-1 to us. My tipping CAFC related is notoriously bad, tonights the night as Rod Stewart says
I'm thinking it may well play out like last week, especially if he doesn't start (he'll hopefully be able to come on a be the game changer).
Pope, Solly (c), Diarra, Bauer, Fox, Gudmundsson, Kashi, Cousins, Ceballos, Watt, Makienok. Thoughts?
Seems strange Ba isn't starting but would assume Cousins will be more central to compensate. As I said before I'm glad we've gone two up top; looks like we're giving it a good go.
I think I answered my own question in another post, saying we could not. GL and I are going to fall out. Very surprised at such an attacking line-up in what, on paper, looks to be one of our hardest tasks this season. And wonder about omitting Ba, one of best players so far. But I think I understand GL's thinking. We are on a high. Derby have not found their form yet. He is going for an early goal while they are sorting themselves out. If we get one I think we will see Ba on for Ceballos or Watt at half-time. If we get overrun in midfield, Pope will be in for a busy afternoon. Hope he is up to it. I expected Southampton v Everton to be a dull draw, but Everton got their reward for a brave attacking attitude. Let us hope we can follow their example. We have a strong bench (apart from keeper). (Last season there were times when there was no-one on our bench you wanted to bring on): 04 Jackson 06 Sarr 16 Ghoochannejhad 18 Ahearne-Grant 19 Bergdich 22 Ba 27 Mitov
We are being overrun, but Derby are not making many clear-cut chances. Plus some great defending from Bauer and Solly. We have had three attacks and three half-chances from them. If Luzon hoped to catch them cold, that plan has not worked.
Looking OK defensively but Derby are on top with Thorne running the show. Ceballos just hit the worst corner of all time.
