    SC "I am not sure what has happened over the last couple of games maybe a hangover from last season"

    Answer = the away kit

    Is it more difficult to pickup players with a black kit especially night games?
    Alex Ferguson changed Man Utd away kit from black as players complained
    about it?

    I think black is an abominable colour for football kit.
    Only good for referees and lines persons as they should be almost invisible.

    Wasn't it the grey kit he swapped?

    I know the ex-kit man for Man Utd and he told me that at half-time Sir Alex said to him "I hope you had the sense to pack a second away kit or you might be walking home". Albert had indeed packed a second kit and he kept his job but was released when Sir Alex stepped down. It was the grey kit which blended in to the crowd at The Dell.

    Thought it was the black kit ala Cantona Kung Fu kick. Any way black must be difficult in night games. Trying to think of another
    team who has a black away kit?

    Your version could well be correct but the one I remember was at Southampton. I'm sure there have been many times when the managers could wish they had brought another kit. Answer to you question: The All Blacks (lol).

    It was Grey, wasn't it the time they lost by a huge margin?

    You go a long way to get a better away kit story than the Blue Few getting relegated by a team playing in their away kit :)

    Anyone remember that awful insipid yellow we had - it was the season GJ arrived and he hated it

    Why did we not stick with purple and green? The answer is to sell more shirts - always about money now

    I didn't mind the black kit tbh (as per my Avatar) but I also like the white kit.

    I don't much like the purple and lime or the yellow kits.

    That purple and lime grew on me last year, I reckon we should have stuck with it for another year!

    Why did you buy a child's size and it stretched?
