PL games being played on Fridays, your opinion?

I personally love it as a fan. I relish the idea of games being on, potentially, 4 days in a row. It may also mean more televised games in total, and therefore the clubs that don't always get on TV might have more of a chance.

But, at the same time, it may also cause problems for those who work on fridays.

It also means pubs could be chocker 4 days of the week, meaning you have less chance of having a quiet day in the pub, with football fans crowding it all the time.

Any opinions on this?

 

I wish there were games on every day

 

Not good in my opinion. Me and the good lady have a bit of a thing on a Friday whereby we catch up the weeks programmes we have recorded, over a bottle of wine, and then we bang like a screen door in a hurricane.

 

The game doesn't start till 8pm - you willl be fine!

 

Not a fan of the night games as they are 2am in the morning here. The Saturday afternoon schedule is great. Can normally watch 3 games in a row (1245, 3pm and 5.30pm) which keeps me watching from 645pm until 1.30am Jakarta time. Then off to bed and ready for at least 2 Sunday games - and all for 45quid ......... per year!

 

Personally i liked wed night games it breaks the week up.

I guess the wife might get suspicious if you stay on to watch the football as well.

What could a girl not like about this? It'll have everything, there will changes of pace and extra big thrusts whenever it goes in the box (phnarr)

 

Its not about banging during a game, oral maybe, but then id probably be asleep after the 6th minute!

 

She must have been pretty frustrated towards the end of last season then.

Don't mind other teams playing on a Friday or a Sunday or whatever wired o'clock the TV companies choose but would really just prefer Saturday at 3.00pm for everyone.

I'm not that desperate to watch Bournemouth v Watford on a Friday night.

 

Seriously though we don't do it on a Saturday during Football First or MOTD, I'm not ******ed.

Yeah, great, more to watch. As long as its in the evening. Sure away fans might be a bit tricky, but in most cases, with matches starting at 8 ...should be ok. Sure if you want to take your kids to an away match it might be too late for them but.. the pros outweight the cons for me, by margin.
