Wow a BBC story I agree with. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/33905397 Ian Wright telling it how it is.
Top fella, I used to really enjoy listening to Wrighty a few years back when he presented talkSPORT's drivetime show with Adrian Durham. He was the voice of sanity while Durham was the complete knob that he's always been. Now of course they have two bellends on the show, Durham and Darren Gough I don't know who's worse really
Chris Goreham at the Sunderland presser - with some sorry news Chris Goreham @CGoreham Alex Neil admits some of the players #ncfc please log in to view this image want to sign don't see the club as an attractive proposition.
I think we have to face the fact that this is true and stop dreraming of targets like Destro as we can't pay ridiculous wages or fees. I agree with Supers that Gayle wouldn't be any great improvement over Grabban, who I think will get a similar number of goals this season. The other disadvantage of new players signed this late is that they have to bed in. If we have to go with what we've got then so be it, but let's at least find a replacement for Turner at CB.
Presumably it's more about us being seen as likely relegation candidates rather than the location of the club. The latter does have some impact I'm sure, but other clubs located in much worse places don't or haven't struggled to attract players.
Yes, I'd a feeling that might be the case and of course if they have a 'WAG' would they rather live in London (or the Home Counties), Cheshire or Norfolk??? I'm afraid that that will always be an issue!!
I would also add that if a player thinks we are not the right place to go because we might get relegated then they are not the sort of player we want to have anyway. Yes we need quality but not at any cost. We need people who never give up and will fight for every point.
Tom Barclay @TomBarclay_SUN Pardew confirms Gayle wants to leave - but doesn't want to go to #BristolCity. He would love #ncfc please log in to view this image move - but they must sell players first.
How on Earth is the Destro thing still rumbling on? http://www.skysports.com/football/n...nfirm-interest-in-roma-striker-mattia-destro?
probably McNasty putting in bids in 5p increments rather than just stumping up a sensible amount the first time.
