What is the unexpired part of the contracts for the players we are trying to move on?

At last a reply! I'm glad I'm not the only one in the dark about the contracts. I'm guessing Niall Quinn was in the dark or surely he would never have authorised them. Unless of course he was frightened of Keane. Surely not, such a nice gentle soul. Anybody know if there is talk of Keane resurfacing in football and giving management another crack?

Haven't heard anything, but for me he'd make a good coach or a number two somewhere, but he doesn't seem to have the temprement to be a manager (at least not yet), needs to learn his trade for a few years yet under the wing of someone who knows what they're doing. Also keep him away from the transfer cheque book and contract negotiation table.

Kilgallon signed for Sunderland on 21 January 2010 on a three and a half year contract, so June 2013 for him

    Nos not a clue

    McCartney 1 September 2008, signing a five-year contract, so again 2013

On 27 August 2008, Ferdinand signed for Sunderland for an undisclosed fee on a four-year deal reported to be around £6 million, so 2012 for anton unless he signed a new deal inbetween.

Killga, nos and ringo are all pretty much surplus to requirements, but we can't offload them cos of the money they're on so they're dead weight,. Ferdinand still has a part to play so he's still useful.

Yeah, I'm in 2 minds about him. Some games he looks a very capable player but other games, I'd even sub him for the Nos (that's how bad he's played)
