Gone back with an improved bid for Ream, according to Mirror http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/qu...-make-improved-bid-for-championship-defender/
BREAKING NEWS Crystal Palace have accepted an initial bid of £6m from Bristol City for striker Dwight Gayle, according to Sky sources. It is thought the deal could rise to £8 million with incentives and Palace boss Alan Pardew revealed last week he was willing to let Gayle leave if the price was right.
I rate gayle and think he would score goals in the championship young too, come on Rangers put a bid in.
Fulham join QPR in the hunt for Bolton defender 12th August 2015 8:20 am From Shoot "" Fulham have reportedly joined Queens Park Rangers in the hunt for Bolton Wanderers’ Tim Ream. After his side’s 1-0 defeat to Burton Albion in the League Cup on Tuesday, Trotters boss Neil Lennon confirmed that the club have rejected an approach from the Cottagers for their centre-half. please log in to view this image Ream, who has 13 international caps for the USA, failed to score in 49 appearances in all competitions last season for Bolton. It is understood that fellow Championship rivals QPR have already had a bid turned down for the towering USA defender after not meeting the club’s asking price of £2m. Lennon said: “There has been an original bid from QPR and now there is one from Fulham. “He is not for sale. And neither club has reached the valuation of the player.” """"
I wouldn't mind seeing Gayle come to us on a season's loan. I don't think he is a £6 million player yet - he just needs a little more experience.. So far as Ream goes - lets stop mucking around and meet the asking price and get him on board now. We need experienced players.
Appears we have had our bid for Ream agreed by Bolton , as have Bristol, so now comes down to personal terms...between us and players...odds are shortening.
Well Palace have already paid £6 million for him, and now apparantly there is another club willing to pay £6 million for him. If the market is willing to pay £6 million isn't he worth it then? Thought the market decided a players value. Not trying to be a dick, no hard feelings I hope
http://mlsmultiplex.com/2015/08/12/report-queens-park-rangers-acquire-tim-ream/ This report from US indicates that we are nearly cross the line with Ream, which I think would be nice. That would give us serious competition in the CD places...Ned, Hall and Ream... as I see Clint as the utility defensive bench player...can just about play in any defensive position to see out a match if necessary...but not really a 90 minute starter now... So IF this happens .......we need a back up goalie....and a striker if Austin leaves Fingers crossed ...we are getting there
QPR in talks with Ream after offer is accepted by Bolton 13/08/2015 United States international Tim Ream is discussing personal terms with QPR after a £1.4m bid for the centre-back was accepted by Bolton. West London Sport recently revealed that Rangers had had an offer of £1m for the 27-year-old rejected. But Ream travelled to the capital for talks on Wednesday evening after the two clubs agreed a fee. Ream has made 126 appearances for Bolton since joining them from New York Red Bulls in 2012. QPR are hoping to complete the signing in time for him to be available for Saturday’s home game against Cardiff City. Looks like another sensible signing, roll on saturday!
