It doesn't matter how you dress it up ACS, that defence is still ****e <laugh>

Now just put Veltman and Umititi in and I'm happy.

Aarons/Perez/Mitro are real talents but should be blooded into the new style of play. SDJ up top because our style doesn't require an out and out goal-getter, but someone who can intelligently bring the runners in. Cabella should get a chance to shine with Aarons as an impact sub. Anita can't be dropped and it's silly to nullify the threat of Gini.

Think he's a goalie and it would be harsh to drop Krul.

Not sure on the obsession with putting de Jong in the starting line up. Quality player but slow, gini and cisse have looked a good partnership up front so far

Sheringham was slow. For me, the ball never, ever sticks with Cisse. I might be doing Cisse a disservice, he is a reliable goalscorer, and I'm not the manager so will defer to his better judgement!

He sticks it in the net

Seriously people winge about player loyalty but the moment the fans get the chance they wipe their arses with the players.

Mitrovic has done nothing but give the ball away and get a yellow card.

You cant just drop players in form i mean what message does it send.

Its a long season and at some point cisse will either be sold, get injured or not score for a couple of games.

It's a fair point, well made, keep Cisse if his head's in the right place - plenty of options at least, for a change.

We should only play De Jong in a more attacking style team. At Swansea we need to be compact in midfield. De Jong doesn't add defensive quality or pace. He's basically a Nolan.

Put on him on later on if we need more of an attacking presence. I'd rather have pace and compact play.

And Nolan was crucial for us in so many games when our strikers forgot their shooting boots.

Thought the combination of Mitrovic and De Jong looked lost up front. Didnt seem to be able to close down as a pair and what with Tiote sitting so deep left a huge hole in our midfield that Southampton just walked through. I would keep Cisse up front against Swansea.

Glad we held onto Cisse. He just gets goals. Has the knack of being in the right place. Looked like he will be able to be involved more regually this season.

Tiote looked really unfit to me. And apart from his tackles that are only good enough when he is sharp he is baggage at best. If we had abeid still I think he could have came on against Southampton and we might have been ok. It was very clear that our cm was completely over ran in the last 15 with a big hole. I want to like de Jong and he does have class about him but he does look sluggish. Maybe again match fitness. And mitrovic looks raw but I like raw. A couple of games under his belt and I think he will be fine. Chase puts the ball in the net and I guess that's what he is there to do but his all round play is poor. Anita is crucial for us this season I think. Him and colback will give Gigi the freedom and hopefully sissy as well.

Far be it from me to be a bit different, but am I the only one who would like to see Perez in the Beardo role behind Cisse or more likely Mitrovic? He'd be great buzzing around and would be capable/fit to drop in hassling the sitting midfielders.

I really hope Perez doesn't get sidelined too much this year. It was rediculous how much we relied on him last year but he has earned the right to be considered 1st team for me. I think he could be a good option in this role.
