From the looks of that article (if there's any accuracy in the rumours), nothing will happen until Dzeko is confirmed at Roma. Hadn't realised that the other side supposedly interested (Bologna) are only just promoted too, so not a dissimilar level to us. It's not like we're competing with teams with Europa league as a draw.

According to the Italian press it's the other way round - Dzeko passed his medical etc several days ago and they are all ready, but they didn't realise they'd filled their quota of foreign players and therefore need to sell in order to buy. The only issue with that is that Mattia Destro is not foreign (to them...) So someone's got something wrong there
