Both sides come into this clash on the back of losing their respective season openers on the weekend, with Yeovil going down 3-2 to Exeter City and QPR falling 2-0 against Charlton. The game will be played at Huish Park Stadium in Somerset with kick off scheduled for 4.45am AEST Wednesday morning (7.45pm Tuesday local time). It will be available to stream live online. please log in to view this image Preview QPR travel to Somerset to take on Yeovil in the Capital One Cup as they look to bounce back from a disappointing loss to Charlton in their first match back in the Championship on the weekend. It was a difficult start to life back in the Championship after being relegated from the Premier League last season, with QPR also seeing many of their star players exit over the summer. To make matters worse, QPR could be without key striker Charlie Austin, who was taken off as a precaution towards the end of Saturday’s loss. Austin experienced an injury-disrupted pre-season and could miss this clash. Leroy Fer - who like Austin is expected to leave QPR before the transfer window closes - is also out with a knee injury, along with Armand Traore and Yun Suk-Young. Yeovil meanwhile could hand a start to on-loan Bournemouth midfielder Harry Cornick, as the side aims for the upset. It’s a huge challenge for the League Two outfit, who are also preparing to face Bristol Rovers in a big South West derby on the weekend. "It's a tough first week, but we knew it was going to be. You can't pick your victims," said manager Paul Sturrock. "QPR are a very strong side and I'm expecting them to be in the tussle for promotion [in the Championship] this season, so we've got to play with the same high tempo that we achieved against Bristol City and Swansea [in pre-season].” The Capital One Cup clash kicks off on Wednesday morning at 4.45am AEST ( 7.45pm Tuesday night local time)

The visit of the West Londoners in the Capital One Cup is a tough prospect and comes just three days after the 3-2 Sky Bet League Two loss to Exeter City and five days before another South West derby against Bristol Rovers on Saturday. "It's a tough first week, but we knew it was going to be. You can't pick your victims," said Glovers manager Paul Sturrock. Think I will avoid Yeovil, I'm scared I might get mistaken for a light snack. Would like to see Diakite, Faurlin and a couple of others start. Bit of an odd one really would like us to do well to boost confidence however it's a bit of a pointless cup for us to be in IMO.

I live in Northampton, near here we have a small town called Kettering, all the women are like that, and now how do I put this, but more so. If you like webbed fingers and toes Kettering is the town for you
also quite the selective gene pool, they don't like to polute it from those outside their direct families
Very good Kiwi thanks. It's on the TV live here, so will get my first opportunity to see the new team.
Didn't realise Camila Batmanghelidjh was a Yoevil girl. She's better off keeping herself wrapped in curtains I think.
There are two cups I can not understand why they are pointless Tim. We need to be coming from a place that is new... we haven't got a team yet
Kiwi you're hired....... Lets do something called a cup run, not quite sure what it is, but I have heard that other clubs do such things from time to time......
